I would like to start this entry by saying I miss those days where I actually did things. Even if those things were only going to school. At least they were things. Yesterday I watched the Germany/Italy game and today I watched the Portugal/France one. And all I can say is, yaaaay Italy and France! I am going to have problems tomorrow watching it,

So far all I've seen of Jess is that he looks skeevy, cleans up real nice- he's very hot, I agree- and he's mean to Luke. And is with that weird bimbo girl. I cannot stand for that. I must lay the law down somewhere.

Well, my problem is I am completely steeped in French culture. So today I was all, yaaay France, OMG I LOVE THE PORTUGUESE MEN.

So I'll probably be pretty neutral come Sunday.

Also, do you watch the games in English or in Spanish?

English. I watched one or two in Spanish but it's too distracting. I have this habit where every time I hear Spanish I have to try and figure out what they are talking about, which leads me to get all depressed over how little I know. ;) So, to avoid my craziness, I stick with ESPN.

Are you able to be neutral? I always end up going crazy supportive of one team by the end. Except France vs. Portugal 'cause I can't bring myself to love the Portuguese anymore. I just went with a may the best team win mentality.

Which players do you think are hot? That's clearly half the fun anyway!

My cable thing offers this new, TIVO-like thing where you can pause TV, and by far been our favorite feature is the pause button. We can can pause it on the players' names.

Um, the only one coming to mind is Philipp Degen from the Swiss team, and Zidane. I was in love with some of the Portuguese team, and the Italian team. I haven't watched many games, okay? I'll let you know more after Sunday.

Also, we feel compelled to watch it in Spanish. Mostly because of the GOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. It's the best part. Plus, I love the announcer guy on Univision. And I learned the word for ball in Spanish, and have picked up another few words. It works out.
