I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. ~ 2 Tim 4:7

On March 1, 2008 at Park Avenue Baptist Church there was a beautiful princess party held for Danielle Marple. It was a joyful time. Will put together a beautiful slide show of Danielle. Then they played some of her favorite songs: Cartoon Song, Every Move I Make, Your Grace is Enough, & I am Free. Danielle's little friends sang for the first two songs. Joyanna did an amazing job singing the verses of Every Move I Make. For the last two songs the children when off the stage and danced for us. Everyone rose from their seats and sang and danced as well. It was so amazing. I have never been to a service more powerful. You could feel the love and joy in the room. After the songs, many people told their favorite stories of Danielle. One girl rewrote a song for danielle. TJ (Danielle's bro) told a story  about when he went to get in the car and she started crying. He asked her why and she told him, "because you hit me." And he said, "No I didn't." And Danielle replied, "You didn't?!" And then she was like, okay whatever and didn't cry. Katie told how there was a Dumbo stague at the hospital and how Danielle kept calling his tail a weenie really loudly. Keri told of how Danielle would tell people how she had shoes in every color. Someone Even called her the Warrior Princess, which fit so perfectly for her. There were so many other stories. Keri also brought Marlie on stage. Marlie helped Danielle through the chemo. She prepared her for every proceedure. Marlie is done with her chemo and is completely healed. After that they were running out of time so Jeff did a quick sermone and then one of the ladies from Christ Aid sang God Speaking. The Reception was beautiful. There were pictures of Danielle everywhere and there were balloons, pink, purple, and blue-her favorite colors. Thank you everyone that could attend. It meant so much to their entire family. I was blessed to be able to go to the reception party at Keri's brother's house. Instead of just going to bed or weeping uncontrollably, they were running around the house playing with dart guns. Later people busted out playing songs on the piano and singing! They are truely amazing people and I am blessed to have such great friends.
