(no subject)
I'm still not used to using livejournal yet. All my life I've been a xanga, myspace, facebook girl so this is a huge step. And so far, this is what I've observed
1) The fandoms here are much better.
Seriously, the only reason I got a lj was to just "spy" on those communities about The Office and Harry Potter, etc. On other sites, it's like, they're not really all that dedicated. Even websites like, officetally.com aren't always up to date with the latest and greatest. (Don't get me wrong, I love that site). Anyways, the fans were are much more mature and well behaved and really have it going on.
2) Theres more "indie" here.
Not a lot of mainstreem stuff you're gonna find down here in livejournal land. All the people seem to be in with the likes of Regina Spektor (whom I love), Death Cab for Cutie, The Fray, Goldfrapp, and those are actually more of the mainstream ones I don't know why I just mentioned them. Anyways, I appreciate the new music "culture shock".
I'll try to update more. Right now, I'm honing my icon making skills with using only (drumroll please) PHOTOFTILRE!
