5th Meeting [Video/Action for Goldenrod]
[It is now time for a Laurent film! Yumi's Mr. Mime has stolen the Pokégear. He's set it up, and he's giving the audience a thumbs-up. He even winks.]
Mime! Mime!
[The psychic-type points and then grabs the camera, turning it to reveal Helga, Yumi's Jynx. He's very proud of the fact that she's holding four eggs and singing to them in a soothing tone. He speaks to her, which causes her to look up.]
Mime...Mr. Mime!
[The new mother blushes and shoos him away. It's unclear to anyone else, but Helga and Laurent...are acting. He's pretending to be an excited father, and she's pretending to be the shy and flattered mother. They're trying to act like a cliche.]
J-jynx! [She turns away and tries to shoo him away with her hand.
He responds by pointing the gear at him and seemingly apologizing. There's only one problem. Yumi doesn't know that her Pokémon had eggs in her room yet. So, when she walks into her room carrying her Eevee like always, she stares in complete confusion.]
Laurent! H-helga?! H-huh? What are you two doing?!
[Laurent winks again and the Mr. Mime turns off the camera, despite Yumi's stammering and flustered attempts to try and address their audience.
Yumi turns it on a few minutes later.]
Guess you guys all saw, but my Jynx...there are eggs now. [That's the easiest way to say it, right? Right.] I have four of them, so if anyone wants one, I'll sell them to a good home.
I never thought I'd see that happen to them, though...heheh. Maybe...hmm. Well, Helga, my Jynx, is pretty strong, so I'm sure that these eggs will be, too.
[And after the video feed, Yumi can be found walking through Goldenrod with her Butterfree, Madame. She doesn't seem to be up to much, but she can be found at her favorite place--the roof of the department store--holding a shiny, icy stone in her hands and turning it over.
She can also be found that night at the breeding center, eating dinner by herself with the three eggs next to her.]
