a week late!

Ok, I am reading the freakiest book ever.  It is about a girl who is at a party, meets a strange guy... you can probably guess where this is going.  He takes her into the park... I won't go into the sordid details.  The first time I read it, I really didn't think anything of it.  We hear statistics like that all the time, but last night, I actually had nightmares about it.  NIGHTMARES!?!? I thought we were supposed to stop having nightmares after a certain age, but seriously? Well, needless to say, I couldn't sleep a wink.  BTW: The book is called "Guilt by Association," if anyone is interested.

So, I'm a 24 year old professional with really nothing to complain about.  I have a great family, awesome friends and a man I am head over heels for... and still, I have to create something to bring me back to reality.  Ridiculous.  It makes one wonder, 'why not just be happy?' But NO, constantly dramatic me has to conjure up random situations that I pray to God will never happen to me, just to make myself miserable.  WTF?!?

Anyway, aside from that rant, life really is good.  Selvan was here last weekend and it was awesome as always.  It's creepy to think about how this relationship will culminate, but I think I'm actually falling more in love with him.  It defies all logic.  How much easier would it be to just date someone in the same country... honestly, I think the relationship works b/c I thrive on drama.  I even have to create it in my head when things are going a little too well.  I'm sure there is a Sex and the City episode about this... ok, note to self.  I have to keep my distance.  I have to be careful.  Men are crap.  Ok, feeling better already....

What else? HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! I will never grow out of the spirit of dressing up for Halloween.  Who says its just for kids.  I've been to more Halloween parties now than I ever have growing up.  And this year is no exception... should be tons of fun.  And I'm a pirate... RRRRR.

Not much else happening.  Stupid nightmares.  I hope the weather is decent for Halloween.... especially for my torso.
