jobless and now with job
Wow. Just like that... actually, it wasn't that easy. It took lots o searching before I actually landed something. But finally, I got hired at Accenture and so far, its been great. I've met some fantastic people and some are even friends... already!
What else? Recently, took a trip to Toronto and Montreal with Selvan and another good friend, Manny. It was a blast... we stayed in Toronto with his family and in Montreal at a hotel. I really liked both cities... Montreal def has a more European feel, but Toronto was my favorite... I prefer cosmopolitan to European, I think. The weather was stunning.... def the best time to be in Canada.
What else... man, I'm a working stiff now. But Accenture seems to be pretty well connected and there are many different groups and after work activities and groups I can be a part of. Actually, a million. Accenture has 180,000 employees... crazy, isn't it?
Anyway, hopefully it'll be good. Haven't really seen too much of my DC friends since I got back, tho. And Selvan is in NYC now, which is pretty cool. At least he's not as far away as he was. I actually went to NYC Labor Day weekend to see him and we went to the US Open. That was off the hook... my first time and totally worth it. I'm definitely going to try to go next year too.
I've started playing tennis again too. I'm really bad... way worse than when I actually played a lot, but hopefully it's like riding a bike. Hmmm... not much else. Selvan is coming down this weekend, so that should be good. And I'll def be in NYC for New Years and Halloween, which should be a cool change.
I miss sleeping in.....
