I normally wouldn't do this, but I was looking at Greg's best friend David's blog..and he said some really awesome things. SO- this is ALL from David's blog.

"It is strange the extent people will go to in order to acquire and to achieve what they feel will make them happy. Happiness is a dangerous pursuit because it lies. It's very nature as an emotion suggests that it correlates to external influences; that it is things outside of one's self that bring happiness. Believe this to be true and you will be haunted by this mistake for the remainder of your life. Your search for love, for peace, for wisdom will never be complete because you are not searching for them in places where they can be found. The whole secret of heaven, of all of creation is not found without. It is found within. Happiness, love, peace, courage, fortitude, wisdom. It is in your own hands. We were made in the image and the likeness of God. We were given power over creation, the creation of us. Who we are, what we will become is in our own hands. It is the power of creation that comes with being made in the likeness of God. So therefore, our wills govern our futures, as God's Will governs the future of all of creation. Search for happiness, but search for the happiness you create yourself. It is not a matter of circumstances, but a matter of attitude. One with the right attitude can be just as happy with $5 as with $5 million. One with the right attitude can be just as happy dying as they were living. But without it, $5 million will make you no happier than $5, and dying will be as bitter as was life.

It matters little in life, when it has been fulfilled by death, what is outside of a person. It only matters what is within, who we truly are. And if we cannot take our jobs, our money, our cars, our houses, even our friends and our families with us, then who we are must be more than any of these things. We must be able to stand apart from them without losing who we are. To stand alone, as we all must do when death comes to us. To be who we are, independent of where we are. That is happiness in life. And that is happiness with life.

The ancient Egyptians had this belief that at the end of their lives, they would be asked two questions, and their answers would decide how they spent the afterlife. The first question being, "Did you find joy?" and the second, "Did you bring joy?"

Did you?"

Thanks David.
