Not such great quality, coming from my phone..without the flash on. lol. But still! you get the point!! RUDY AND LESLIE!
So my "brother" is married now! "brother" as in not really my brother...close enough though. I consider him one. I'm so happy for him. I wish he lived here, but he LOVES the Army. And i'm so glad he found something (and someone!) so perfect for him. He's so amazing. He's the funniest guy i've ever met. I've learned the art of my unique sense of humor from him (and talita and eymard of course. lol, it was a family effort.) I've always felt that he'd always be there for me, and would stand up for me if i ever needed it. He'd be the big brother that would beat up anyone that needed it. And now he's my ARMY trained big brother that will beat you up..so be nice to me. The wedding was so pretty. Leslie sang "the prayer." IT WAS GORGEOUS. That's my all time favorite song. Meaning, i wouldn't say it was gorgeous if i really didn't think so. She sang it SO well, and her voice is amazing. Talita looked SO pretty, and so did her mom and everyone else.
The reception was really fun. They had an AWESOME jazz quartet playing. I mean, if it's a group picked by eymard and rudy..it HAS to be amazing, because they're amazing themselves! The guy playing sax/flute/vocals was freakin CRAZY! We were all in awe of him. He's so talented..it was amazing. Had fun..hung out..danced..laughed at eymard trying to dance. Tons of fun. Mainly just stayed close to Eymard, Talita, Adriana, and Diogo. My parents left, and let me stay the rest of the time with everyone, and so i could ride back with talita.
Leslie and this guy got up and sang the prayer near the end of the reception. Leslie sang it beautifully of course..and the guy- WAS SO GOOD. AH!! Maybe it's because i don't hear a lot of classical-ish guys singing..but he was a STUD. Like, near Josh Groban. Ok, maybe not THAT good, but he was AMAZING considering he just randomly got up there and sang without ever rehearsing/warming up/ANYTHING. I was super impressed. PROPS to that guy. He was cute too!
Finally time to leave..said goodbye to Rudy, and headed back to leslie's house with eymard, diogo, adriana, and lita to get her car. Then we went home.
I can't believe Rudy is MARRIED! I'm so happy for him. I wish them the BEST of luck.
I'll get more pictures when talita puts hers on the computer, because i forgot to bring a camera..GRRRRRR. But oh well, they have tons.
