Taken from dollsome, where she already wrote JAIME AND BRIENNE AS SPIES, GUYS, IT'S AMAZING.

1.) Give me a pairing.
2.) Give me an AU setting.
3.) I will write you a three-sentence fic (or more!)

I CAN HANDLE THREE SENTENCES. In fact, if you prompt me something and I do not reply, you have every reason to be mad at me, because come on. Three sentences. I ( Read more... )

Saul and Caprica as reporters. In the 1940s. (That last part is important because I have a ridiculous thing for men in hats.)

Caprica slammed the phone down and hopped off the desk she'd been perched on. "We got a lead," she called out as she tucked her notepad into the waist of her skirt.

Saul was just as quick to leap to his feet, pulling on his coat and hat as he asked, "Where?"

"Some private dick in midtown," Caprica answered as she pinned her hat in place. Saul grabbed her jacket and held it out so she could put it on as they walked out the door. "Said that Mr Adama has been keeping tabs on his wife for some time now."

Saul gave a low whistle. "You think he'll talk to us?"

"I didn't exactly spell out who I was on the phone," Caprica admitted as they took the stairs two at a time. "He'll talk to us."

He didn't want to ask what her plan was if the detective tried to keep things close to the vest. Caprica might look like an angel, but she raised holy hell to get her story. "He'll have the dirt on Mrs Adama's comings and goings. And if we see any characters showin' up more than usual..."

"Any male characters," Caprica filled in ( ... )

Hee! Look at them! Love the idea of them running around investigating! :D

I realized while writing this I really had two thoughts of what reporters did: solve murders and stuff or get invitations to stay at someone's house during a society wedding. NOT THAT THE SECOND OPTION WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN AWESOME, but this one was slightly easier.

Kara and Caprica in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League during WWII.

(I don't know!)

TOTALLY TACKLING THIS, and doing my best with baseball terms, but, do you see Kara and/or Caprica in any particular position in the game?

I had to stop and remind myself that I even know what all the positions are. My baseball knowledge is low, but I think I do!

If they're on the same team I could totally get behind Kara as pitcher and Caprica as catcher, but go with whatever feels good! I won't mind!

When Kara signed as a pitcher for the Rockford Peaches, she thought she was there to play ball, not be in a beauty pageant, but she hadn’t read the contract closely enough ( ... )

Ellen and D'Anna! does it count as an AU setting if I say it's set sometime before the start of BSG canon? like, on a basestar before the Five are exiled? IF IT ISN'T CAN YOU JUST BEND THE RULES?

/o\/o\/o\ I just want a glimpse into Ellen interacting with this particular daughter!

Going West! sunshine_queen July 21 2012, 07:30:12 UTC
For all the time Diana spent with them it was like she was going to Oregon on her own, Ellen thought wearily. John, Leo and Aaron walked with other young men, within eyesight, and Catherine and Natalie picked flowers on the side of the trail, lost in their own world. Saul drove their team, as he had without complaint from Independence ( ... )

I'm planning to come back later and read your fics when I have a chance, but in the meantime, here are some prompts:

- Gina and Helena at a suffragists' march in the 1910s (I'm thinking of Iron Jawed Angels)

- Caprica and Gaius are part of the community of artists and lovers in La bohème or Rent

- Kendra the orthopedic surgeon meets her newest colleague, Kara the pediatric surgeon (why yes I am thinking of Callie and Arizona on Gray's Anatomy)

They don’t meet in Helena’s house because even a breath of scandal would be enough to undo them, and the house she inherited from her late husband requires a staff of twenty. Instead Helena comes to Gina’s third floor apartment and they embrace between sashes and pickets and stacks of flyers. Gina’s living room is also used for some of their meetings, and as the president of their local chapter, it isn’t odd for Helena to stay after to discuss what refreshments should be served the next time she hosts, or to look over a submission to the Ladies’ Home Journal ( ... )

Ahhhh, this is delightful. I love how you situated them in such a different time and place in such an intensely detailed and believable way. The line about Helena brushing Gina's hair is so exquisite. Beautiful snippet, lady! <3

Because I am predictable...

Natalie/Gavriel, in a medieval or fantasy setting, with Gav as a poor knight and Nat as a lady of noble birth.

I may have to steal this meme when I'm done with my current one! ^_^
