Being an intern sucked sometimes! She was starting to question whether becoming a nurse was her thing or not. There had been much debate with her family about her choice in the first place, and now Reina was starting to wonder if her stubborn mother had been right all along.

"Benvinuto," came a stern voice, and Reina whirled around, her thoughts already stirring.

Is there any harm in me coming for a coffee break? Please don't tell me they've made this employees only or something...

"Yes ma'am?" Reina asked, realizing the woman addressing her was Kristin Landow, not only her supervisor, but the head of personnel and human resources. Basically, this was the woman who decided her fate at the hospital.

"I'd like to see you in my office."

Reina studied the woman's face carefully, but she couldn't read her. "Alright," she followed her down the hall, sure to close the door behind her.

"Take a seat." The scene was very Hollywood... Kristin was going through some papers at her desk, and Reina sat nervously, on the edge of her nice looking, but stiff, chair.

What could possibly be this wrong? Reina asked herself over and over. The silence felt like it lasted ages.

"The holidays will be coming in about two months, and we like to make sure we're properly staffed," Landow began, avoiding Reina's eyes for the most part. The young intern was staring at her as though she determined fate itself. "As you know, we've many interns here at our hospital, and we have our Healers comment on the performance of the interns they've worked with." Now the woman looked up at Reina, seeing the anxiousness in her eyes. "I'd like you to know you were ranked highly, and we'd like the ask you to start taking some classes through our programs, to become a full-time nurse."

Reina's jaw dropped. A full time nurse? Taking classes again... that was something she could do. She'd graduated Hogwarts with very nice grades. Now she'd probably be even more motivated.

"What will this entail?"

"Well, we haven't exactly done this as early as we're doing it with you, but you seem to know your stuff. You'll still be an intern, you'll still be practicing, and taking the exams the interns take at the end of each portion, but in addition you'll be attending classes we delegate to you. They will be mandatory if you want to start practicing early."

Reina listened as Kristin continued on, processing everything. "What will it cost me?"

"You'll be training for us, so we'll pay for your classes," Kristin smiled, as if Reina was more of a novice than she had thought.

"It sounds... perfect," Reina breathed. "When can I start?"

"I'll owl you a list of the upcoming classes you need to attend, attached to a list of deadlines for the intern exams. You'll want to take them earlier than anyone else."

She nodded at her boss, standing up to go. "That sounds perfect, thank you very much."

"Alright, Reina," Kristin called her by her first name for once, "Go enjoy your coffee break."
