seeking solace in visting and news (pg. 3 Pride and Prejudice)

why do people have such an easy time bitchin people out behind their backs, but such a hard time telling them the same thing to their face???

those of you who know me well know that I tend to tell people what i think to their faces. yeah, it might hurt sometimes, and other times it's probably a compliment on their cute outfit. I have no problem telling your weaknesses, and of course I never suppress compliments either. life isn't long enough for people to figure out what's wrong with them all by themselves. i, personally, find it a compliment in itself to have people care enough about me to tell me what they think, so I can figure out what's good and what's bad. isn't it better to hear from their mouth than someone else's?

I see so much drama and gossip around me everyday that I really don't see why we all hate Mrs. Bennet so much. Most girls, and (yes) guys too, tend to thrive on a continuously flowing river of news. Yet we criticize and laugh at this character's constant break-downs and silly behavior. if that's silly, what do you call the red noses, quivering lips, and strained eyes that we see all the time?

sorry for bringing in english into all this stupid high school reflections, but i really couldn't help it. it's the end of the first semester of OUR SENIOR YEAR, and i really think it's time to live our last few months at this school together in peace. drop all your stupid pride and forget your past quarrels, JUST GET ALONG DAMMIT!

and to forget all this stupid bullcrap, here's a more easier riddle...as none of you have answered the last one (i'll announce the answer next week for that one, if no one gets it by then.)

What is it?

The Pope has it but he does not use it.
Your father has it but your mother uses it.
Nuns do not need it.
Arnold Schwarzenneger has a big one,
Michael J. Fox's is quite small.

and no, it's not anything inappropriate...so please, let's not even go there.
