scottie asked me out last night and i said yes
it's not seriouse... but i am soo friggin happy
i have not met someone who can make me smile quite so much...
it's amazing
i know it seems like a rush b/c of nick... but if you knew what was going on in my head, it might make more sense
i owe no one an explination, sufice to say, i am in a better place now
poem-ish:
i feel like a kid learning how to walk again
feet stumble-fumble speech
tougue tied careless mind
the sun kisses a cheek with an ease of nature
makes me smile even on the inside
even when it's dark outside
and i'll learn, i'll walk again
scars not there yet
wounds still fresh
but i'll learn
life will be beautiful today
it's the little things, being silly on a snow day
making pancakes with your best friends
listening to the silence of a fresh snow fall
hoping for a chance to play like we used to
and innocence has new meaning
not one defined by books, but by the heart
a thought that makes you smile
hearing a name lights up the sun again

gonna unwind before bed... even sleeping like a baby lately, last night especially
