ASG thoughts
Vamos Gigantes and all that. I'm glad they put up a show in the All-Star Game to temporarily quiet the haters. Half of me wishes that Dickey had started, because he is the Most Interesting Man in the World, but, well, Matt Cain. Anyway, I always root for the NL and I'm glad they won for that small hope for home series advantage, etc. (Which is silly, but still. As long as it's not the Dodgers I'll root for the NL in the World Series.)
That being said, all this is pre-empted because you guys, Jose Bautista, my favorite player in the AL, is featured in ESPN the Magazine this week. If this doesn't make you want to move to Canada, I'm not sure what will. Jose Bautista, everyone. He won the home run derby of my heart. He hits home runs, poses sans clothing, and makes me steal tags shamelessly.
