Don't worry we are still here. Since the last update allot has happened. The worse of which is I had two of my keyboards break down and needed some repairing. Both are back in the studio and working like new. The other is a casualty that comes from the evil empire known as Online Shopping. As you may or may not remember I said I was going to be ordering the
Novation Remote 49 Midi Controller in my last update. Well I decided to spend the extra $100 and get the
Novation Remote 61. They were supposed to be released at the beginning of April, so that's when I placed my order. Well it turns out they were not released until the beginning of May, and I didn't receive mine until the middle of May. When I opened up the inside box it looked like Ace Ventura had delivered it. After I opened that box there were three keys broken. So I called them up to setup a return where I give them my CC number and have them send out a new one limitedly and they charge my CC and as soon as they receive my broken one they will remove the charge. Well it turns out that they were out of stock. I just received my working Midi Controller 2 weeks ago. Also some where during all this I got the bright idea to get a real Producer Workstation (Fancy word for desk). So I found this one I really liked and placed the order. They told me two weeks and I would have it. Fine I'm still waiting for the Midi Controller anyway's. I so after I order it I get a call from the shipping company telling me they would deliver it about a week and a half after I had ordered it. Well only one piece of the desk arrived. Call up the place where I ordered it from and they said they would look into it. Since they are just a middle man for the company who makes it they have no idea what's going on and has to research it. Two weeks go by and I haven't received a call back from the place I bought it from or the company who makes the desks. I call up the place where I order it from and my sails rep was surprised that I still haven't received it yet. He promises that he will get back to me that day with an answer on where the rest of my desk it( All this time I really don't have a place to correctly setup my computer let alone all musical equipment to record with). He ends up calling me the next day and says that the reason I haven't received it is the people who make my desk ran out of wood! So as soon as they get more wood I am on the top of the list to get the rest of my desk. Well two weeks ago I received the desk. So now I have everything setup and talking together again and all is good. I think Ill just be a little more hesitant ordering off the internet again.
So there really isn't much to update on the \\Consolation\Desolation album at this time since I have had allot of downtime lately. That doesn't mean we haven't been doing anything though. Using what equipment I had at the time we decided to work on a
remix contest of the song Mindstalking by a band I like
Lunascape. In the last two weeks after everything was setup I have been in overdrive to finish this before the deadline. Below is a link to the remix, a song we are working on called Believe Me, and some pictures of the studio.

Here is our take of Lunascapes Mindstalking. We wanted to make it sound as if it were our song, so its not really a remix in the normal since more of a re-imagination. According to the rules of the contest I'm not allowed to post an MP3 on external links so here is a link to the acidplanet webpage where you can listen to it.

Here is a rough mix of Believe Me. This was posted as Song 5 earlier. This was a quick take with some vocals to see how it sounds. I'm not sure I like the lyrics or how I'm singing in this so it probably will change.
