Hey everyone, welcome to Melbourne Cup day where I live...
it is a major Horse race, kinda like the Kentucky Derby and everyone across the whole country stops and watches it...
Around about $500 million is also gambled...
I'll be leaving work at 12pm to go and have lunch and WONT be returning.
I pick up my car tomorrow after my accident, that is costing me $2,800 altogether - damn European cars.
Usually my posts reak of angst, lonliness, futility, today eh could care less, I am off to wipe myself out big time.
Finished the Frances Farmer autobiography.... affinity, true affinity- it is named Will there ever be a Morning? - after the Emily Dickinson novel.
I love her, I love her, I love her. She's dead. Died on 1 August 1970.
Don't worry Frances I'll have a Scotch for you today.
