Kate is exhausted but high on acting. *grins*

We performed a play today in one of my best friends' old high school and we had great success and lots of fun. And I loved every minute of it. I love the fact that you wish your characters a happy birthday! I love people whose characters HAVE birthdays.

My main boy, the narrator of my novel, has his on New Years Day. He would be 243 years old : )

Wow, 243, that's impressive.

And I think it's inevitable, really, if you are close to your characters. When they feel like a huge, sometimes insufferable and annoying family that you adore despite everything, then birthdays are part of the whole thing.

Oh, that reminds me... I still haven't added a link to my characters-website on my Lj. I really should do that. :-P

Well, he's likely reposing quite safely in a quiet churchyard somewhere. But for me, writing about him circa 1780, he's still very much alive.
