Roxas' co-navigator, Sora has probably been the main factor in helping Roxas get over the Lunasa Day Bombings and the death of his father. This was mostly accomplished by the fact that Sora just refused to leave Roxas alone. Slowly, Roxas has been returning to his former, happier self, and Sora has become a much better navigator. Everybody wins.

Roxas and Riku don't interact much, but Riku doesn't seem to like Roxas, and Roxas just can't figure out why. Riku can easily wear Roxas' patience down, and more often than not, the two of them leave irritated at the other. Roxas is still wondering what he did to ruffle Riku's feathers. As far as he knows, he didn't do a thing, so it must be something on Riku's end.

Beat and Roxas have one thing that bonds them together as friends more than anything else: their love for the airboard. That's not to say they aren't friends for other things though. Beat tends to bring out the worst in Roxas, who becomes more mischievous and daring around him. Roxas thinks that Beat rushes into things like a dolt, but that doesn't stop Roxas from doing the same himself.

What is the best way to make friends? If you answered "running away from security," then you've answered how Roxas and Gold met. Like Beat, they're bonded through airboarding and even though they're on friendly terms, Roxas still thinks Gold is a jerk. Also, he needs to know what an "indoor voice" is.

The strange amnesiac boy that Roxas met during the Hanami Cloud Festival. Even if it was only one meeting, Roxas sometimes wonders how Neku is doing, and if his memory is coming back. They've spoken to each other on the network, but were unaware who the other was.

A woman Roxas met while he was still living in Garrettstown. They're not exactly friends, but Paine doesn't seem to dislike him, which is always a good thing. He's thought about trying to contact her and see what she's been up to, but he isn't sure if she'd welcome his communication.
