(no subject)
I have decided that without random breaks, the girls and history majors I would go crazy. Yep, pretty much. Life here is that stressful and icktified right now. The first "everything is due" time is coming up really fast and it's getting to be a little overwhelming. I'm also sick and tired of some people...argh...I wouldn't mind chopping a few heads off. Actually, I just wouldn't mind falling asleep and not waking up right now to tell you the truth. Atleast not waking up for a very long time...like until Spring Break. I don't know. Whatever. Things will calm down soon enough.
I can't come back here for the 3rd summer session meaning I'm going to have trouble graduating with a Public History degree on time. So, there are 2 conclusions coming out of this and I need to talk to Dr. Bates and Dr. Smith more about it...but so far things are lookin good:
#1: Anthropology major and drop to a History minor (Both are easily done...I only need 7 more classes in Anthropology, and they're all being offered next year.)
#2: Add the Anthropology major, drop the Public History and just do a regular History major.
The benefit with option #1 is that I wouldn't have to take anymore Spanish after this semester, I wouldn't have to take Public Administration and I wouldn't have to take anymore history classes at all. It would also look much better for Grad schools.
The benefit with option #2 is that I would only need 1 more US History and it would look good on Grad School applications as well. This one has a lot more downfalls though...like Spanish 202...
I don't know, we'll see.
Anyways... I'm coming home for the weekend, and I cannot wait. This is going to be fun and a good de-stresser.
