What to wear; or, Teeny the Fashionista

As
doolabug said two years ago: what am I gonna do when SitS is over and I don't have an excuse to post here 90 times a week?

Herewith, my best suggestions what to pack for Boston.  (Yes, in fact, I do think I'm your mom, why do you ask?)
ballincolligand any other people familiar with New England weather, please tell me if I'm overlooking anything.

Clothes:

Expect hot days and cold nights.  We've had a colder-than-average spring, and we're going to be spending a lot of time on the water, where it's always windy.  Bring at least one jacket or warm sweater, long pants, and a warm pair of socks.
Otherwise: ordinary casual summer clothes are appropriate for pretty much everywhere we'll be going.  We'll be eating in a nice sit-down restaurant at least once (more on that later) but all the waitstaff in Boston are used to tourists, so no need to pack your strapless mini and heels (though you can if you like).
Comfy shoes.  We'll be doing a lot of walking, so avoid anything that can give you blisters.
Swimsuit--there's a hotel pool.
Shady hat.  Useful for when we're sailing.
Sunglasses.  Ditto.
Bathrobe.  For dashing up and down the hotel corridors en deshabille with a bottle of Captain Morgan in hand.
PIRATE CLOTHES.  As it says on the tin.  I've promised a friend of mine who works on the US Constitution that I'm going to bring a crew of lawless fangirl pirates to reef the topsails in the Ship Museum on Saturday.  We've got some expectations to live up to, mates.

Other stuff:

A pocket umbrella is always handy.
SUNBLOCK.  A must.  I'm bringing a couple of tubes of SPF 30, just in case.  We're going to be spending time out on the water in the middle of the day, which can give you an all-round nicely-basted sunburn if you're not careful.
As Doola and others agreed for SitS 06, a fanny pack is useful and leaves your hands free, unlike a purse.  I'm going to wear a knapsack, myself.
