Sorry. It's been months since the last chapter. And I'm not doing any better in the game, I think I'm only 2-3 chapters ahead. But there is a story I'm willing to tell and sometimes it's hard for me to concentrate on it. Anyway, here's the new chapter, I hope you'll enjoy reading it :).
Last time:
Cindy realized she is pregnant with Vladimir Schlick's child and gave birth to a vampire girl named Darcy. Desmond met a girl named Karie, but it was a bit late for them to play together, so he promised to visit her the day after. Two maids came to clean the house, and Beanie fired one of them, Abdul, who swore revenge. Desmond on his way to Karie's house, met Abdul who kidnapped him and wanted Beanie to pay him a lot of money for his son. Fortunately now teenage Karie came and rescued Desmond, who had a late birthday after that. He overheared Bethany's and Wesley's (simtopi) conversation with his uncle Collin about Darcy. Desmond is later told a story about Vladimir's plans involving his half-sister and learns that the family has to move in order to escape Vladimir. He once again visits Karie and kisses her goodbye.
Cindy welcomes Appaloosa Plains with a huge smile. She loves the fact they didn't actually have to change the house, since I moved them along with their lovely Brandywine House. I just changed some things in the garden for it to match the Appaloosa Plains setting.
Bethany spends a lot of time with her youngest granddaughter. She looks like she is worrying about Darcy's future very much. And she has reasons...
Dorian: Dad, I don't feel well, may I go home?
Beanie: Go ahead, but don't forget that visit in a museum is very important in every man's life.
Dorian: I don't know why, but those people seem somehow familiar...
Siddharta (memba him?): Mum? Mum, wake up! We're supposed to track down the Knights, not to pass out in public!
Elvira: Oh, yes, yes... Vladimir will be proud of us if we find them.
Siddharta: Dad will be proud, yes...
Back at home, Daisy and Dorothy are having a twin birthday.
All the blond in one place <3. Yay Wesley! (simtopi) for bringing blond hair into the family.
When the girls were toddlers, I actually thought that they are boring and there's nothing interesting in their looks and trait combination. I was so wrong!
Daisy developed the Rebellious trait. And you have no idea how much she has grown on me.
Dorothy is gorgeous as well! She rolled Artistic which I think suits her. I gave her a nerdy makeover xD.
Dorothy: How am I supposed to eat the cake with this chair on the way? It's so unfair!
Desmond: Oh, come on, sis. Just sit down.
Dorothy: Standing seems to be the perfect solution.
Desmond and Wesley: ...
Well, even if she confuses him sometimes, Wesley is proud of Dorothy who's continuing the creative traditions of the family.
Daisy is not as rebellious as I thought... She probably needs some more time to show her true self.

Bethany took up sculpting, since I changed her LTW to "the Descendant of da Vinci" because I was too lazy to put the film studio in Appaloosa, plus it would destroy the beautiful scenery, etc, etc... Maybe I just wanted my dear girl to complete her LTW before she dies...
New town - new paparazzis.
Appaloosa Paparazzi Girl: Bethany Knight sculpting in her pajamas! This is definitely going to the front page!
The first day of new school wasn't too surprising for Desmond. But after he left the building, there was something more interesting waiting for him...
Colonna (mortsims): Isn't that the new boy who came to our class today?
Colonna: Hello there, handsome!
Colonna: Your name is Desmond, right?
Colonna: You're quiet a horse person, aren't you?
Desmond: Well, not exactly, it's actually the first horse I've ever seen.
Horse: How is that possible! We're the superior beings!
Colonna: Even so, you sure are a sweetie.
Desmond: Well...
Desmond: !?
Horse: Not so fast, woman!
Horse: He's mine and I'm not willing to share him with you!
Desmond: ...
Dorian: Dad? Mind explaining why you brought us here?
Dorothy: Is this some kind of a homework doing place?
Cowboy kid: It is for me.
Beanie: Course not! I took you here because all three of us rolled the want to go fishing and this just seemed a perfect place to try.
Dorothy: Fishing?
Dorothy: Sounds fun!
Cowboy kid: But... I thought this was here only to enjoy while doing homework...
Girl: Don't mind them and help me with maths!
Dorothy: This sure was fun, don't you think, bro?
Dorian: Yeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaah, very interesting.....
Dorothy: Sleep well, Dorian.
Dorian: Good night, sister.
Dorian: What? It's the morning already?
Daisy: Yep, and school awaits us.
Cake for breakfast. Aren't they lucky? :P
Later that night, Cindy organized a birthday party for Dorian. Look who's there! Caleb and Brian <3.
This is Charon's son, Derick. He looks a lot like her!
This chick here, is Suzy Strummer, Brian's current girlfriend. Shame on him, how could he leave my lovely Dagmara? They still live together though.
Charon: We'll rock that house, Collin!
Desmond: You'll need to come inside first! Hurry up, you're going to miss everything!
Arthas: Like I cared.
The only one who was there for Dorian's birthday was Derick.
Derick: Happy birthday, cousin!
Dorian: Thanks, cousin! Yay, me!
Derick sadly had to leave. The only one left to watch him grow up was the girl he met the day before at the Fishing-and-homework-doing-place. Forgot her name.
OMG, isn't he just stunning!?
To my surprise, (almost) no one bothered to come in and see Dorian's birthday but they still thought the party was great...
Isaiah (Brian's and Suzy's only son): Boo, dad's ex!
Dagmara: OMG, my step-son is finally talking to me!
Dagmara: Well, I expected something better...
Jeri (Brian and Dagmara's daughter): So this is their new child... I think it's a bit weird, but her eyes...
Jeri: Beanie, this child isn't a vampire, is it? Beanie? Beanie?!
Jeri: Anyway, got to go, bye!
IsaIah: Face to face meeting with step-sister -
That was close... Good thing Beanie fainted and didn't hear what Jeri said about his (step-)daughter. It would have been a shock for him, since he still has no idea that Darcy's in fact not his child. :(
The next day, all the adults received a message that they won a free vacation. You know what that means ;)
Cindy: I'm a little bit worried about the kids...
Wesley: Don't be ridiculous, I'm sure they'll manage, dear.
Daisy: FREEEEEDOM, YAAAAY!
Everyone went to school though. Probably Dorian wanted to make a good impresion in his new class. And this is what he gets xD
Random girl (her name was Bennie or... Anyway I don't remember): Why didn't you invite me to your birthday party?
Dorian: I had a birthday party?
What a discovery, Dorian...
Random girl: I expect you to invite me next time.
Isn't her hand kinda in a wrong place?
Dorian: ....
Dorian: First day in school and the girls already fall for me!!
Jupiter: Hey, kids!
Dorian+Daisy+Dorothy: Hello, uncle Jupiter!
Girl: I wish I could call him uncle too...
There was a party to be thrown so Dorian bought some things (including an awesome stone stereo which was the only reason I wanted Outdoor Living Stuff)
Of course plenty of teenagers (including Colonna, the cousins and random kids) were invited.
Desmond danced with Colonna all night.
Her sister, Perpetua, came too, but left as soon as she saw Dorian shortly after.
Random girl which name I forgot: At last I had been invited *gulp*
Isaiah: Teen party, yay!
Desmond: I brought you a drink, Colonna.
Isaiah: You're doing the shirtless thing now, Des? Great, it always works, ya know.
Colonna: *pretends that she doesn't know what Isaiah is talking about*
At the same time, Dorian gets an unexpected visit.
Policeman: What are you doing here, young man? I heard that a party takes place here.
Dorian: I don't understand, sir. I'm just taking care of my baby sister.
Using the toddler as an excuse, Dorian? :P
Policeman: Oh, you can stop this stupid game. You know, I was young too.
Desmond: Attention please! The police are here and our parents are coming back any second now, so get the hell out of here, before we all get caught and grounded till the end of our teen years...!
Desmond: People, why are you standing there? I said run?!
Colonna: Why now?! I almost managed to kiss him...
And so, called by the police, the adults arrive.
Beanie: I can't believe it... My boys are having their first teen party... Isn't this touching?
Dorian deals with the punishment the Dorian way.
And Desmond developed a very strange habit of sneaking everywhere.

Well, life slowly comes back to normal.
Cindy's still working on her... uhm... own style...
Man: Seriously? Roman in white boots?
Cindy: You don't like it - you still pay for it.
Except for Wesley. He started spending time in the study more than usually, working on his books.
Dorothy: Look, grandpa! I'm a queen!
Wesley: Yes, sweetie.
Dorothy: But I rule, grandpa! I'm a queen here!
Wesley: Of course, honey.
Dorothy: ...
Cindy: Desmond. I'm letting you off the hook, but please stop sneaking everywhere, it's getting a bit annoying, dear.
Desmond: Yes mom, thanks, I'm terribly sorry.
Desmond: *sneak, sneak*
Beck (alan_gast): Uhm... Isn't the school the other way?
Of course Desmond needed more time to figure out the obvious and find his way to school.
Colonna: I wonder why he is sneaking...
Desmond: You started getting those mood swing recently, bro?
Dorian: Yeah, that's pretty normal in our age, isn't it?
Desmond: I just can't get rid of this weird feeling telling me I need to change my hair.
Dorian: So change it, I can't see a problem.
Desmond: I suddenly feel better *gets lifetime happiness points*.
I want the old hair back! D:
Desmond: *sneak, sneak* *sneak, sneak*
DESMOND, DAMMIT! I thought resetsim would help you!
I guess, he's just getting more and more rebellious...
Daisy: This lady looks like she's been eating too few sandwiches!
Daisy: Oh my, a boy... Should I talk to him?
Laurel (Celeste's step-daughter): *insert insane sim caption here*
Daisy: Uhm, hello. I'm Daisy Knight. I see you here every time I come by...
Beck (alan_gast): Beck Hansen. My father works in the theatre. I want to be like him and join the music career one day too.
Laurel: *even more insane talk*
Beck: Is she related to you?
Daisy: I think she's my aunt's step-daughter or something.
Beck: Anyway. You know, if you get a feeling you should stop by the theatre when passing by, it's a good sign. Perhaps you're getting more and more interested in music?
Daisy: You... You probably read my mind... I was even thinking of taking lessons and learning how to read notes.
Beck: I can teach you, if you like.
Laurel: *gasp* Music invasion!
Dorian: I'm sure it'll save me a lot of time if I do my homework while taking care of my little sister.
Dorian: Darcy, can you please shut up while I'm trying to focus on maths?
Darcy: But it's my birthday!
D'awww, she's a cutie.
Wesley: Beth, can I ask you for a word? In private?
Dorian: *plus, plus*
Wesley: Finally some peace and quiet.
Bethany: Your visions stopped, didn't they?
Wesley: Yeah. It seems that my time is finally ending. Don't worry though, my love.
Wesley: Take care of them when I'm gone. Tell Desmond what he needs to know. I... Don't know if I can look at their faces without seeing how they'll look when they realize my time has passed...
Wesley: Goodbye, my love.
Cindy: Charon? You... You still wear that shirt?! You're joking right?
Cindy: It's time to change it.
Charon: But... But Alec likes it.
Cindy: He'll like the new one even more.
Charon: You didn't have to change my hair too....
Cindy: Sorry... I simply couldn't resist.
Charon: Anyway this looks cool, it makes me feel young again.
Cindy: ... Will you come to my party today?
Charon: I'll think about it.
Cindy: Oh, hey! Are you the one who called me?
Cindy: Come here sweetie, let me take care of your look.
Man: Uhm, Mrs. Knight?
Man: Actually, I am the one who called you. I want a makeover.
Cindy: Just let me enjoy this moment for a little longer please?
As you can see, Derick grew up too, and he looks exactly like Wesley!
Charon accepted Cindy's invitation and she arrived just in time...
...because it was the twins' birthday once again.
As you can see Daisy developed her own way of having a birthday.
This party was better than the last one, because this time everyone was paying attention, just like they should.
The whole family (and some other guests) were there.
The (unofficial) family trait (Inappropriate) is still there.
And so, Daisy grows up...
And she becomes even more rebellious and very pretty.
Dorothy grows up too.
She rolls the genius trait, and is still beautiful.
Elvira: The Knight residence has been successfully infiltrated. Our representative will soon be sent.
Dorian: Hi, you're Colonna's sister, right? I keep getting this feeling you're following me...
Perpetua: Sorry, we'll talk about it later. I have to go.
Dorian: Women.
Our Beloved Sneaky Desmond: Hi Colonna!
Colonna: Nothing is going to interfere tonight. I'm definitely going to kiss him!
Nothing.
Wesley: It's time.
Cindy, you know you fail at showing emotions, right? And Desmond, stop sneaking, your grandfather is dying, dammit!
Colonna: Oh my god, did I just ran past a dying person!?
Colonna: Damn. My plan is ruined. AGAIN!
So sad...
Cindy and Beanie: Who is going to make us lunch now!?
Charon: Dad...
Derick: Grandpa...
Derick: I never really had an occasion to get to know you...
