Was browsing a through a few LJ users' journals today..and found some really interesting stuff..
zebra_patronus has this really cool shakespeare mood theme thingy which unfortunately i can't use seeing that my account isn't a paid one. *frowns* But for those who do, the mood theme beats anything LJ can offer. It uses quotes from The Bard's plays to describe emotions.
Eg:
Aggravated - "Off with his head!"
Busy - "One man in his time plays many parts.."
Giggly - "Oh, I am stabbed with laughter.."
Hyper - "Action is eloquence."
Cun eh? Very much indeed, I say..
For the rest of us, there are some pretty neat Harry Potter, Shakespeare etc. icons that is worth checking out.. I downloaded the mood theme stuff anyway..will just link it here..=]
Assuming everyone knows about the earthquake today in Sumatera..my sis and I felt the tremors in our house. We were both sitting in the TV hall around a little after 12 when suddenly I felt my sofa and me shaking. The first thing that struck my mind was "Who is pushing my chair?" My sis felt herself moving too and thought she was going to faint. Then I turned and saw the pictures moving. God, you can imagine the fright. We both ran and woke up our parents. But, unfortunately it stopped by the time they came and checked. Luckily, both of us felt it. If it was only me...I think most people would think I was a raving maniac..for that night at least.
Well now I can say that I actually felt an earthquake tremor! How morbid of me, eh.. =]
