Little pick-me-up:
Yesterday was laundry day, and the (Chinese, I apologize for the stereotype but it's true) man who generally works behind the counter has gotten pretty friendly with me. (In the way that older Chinese men do; he'll say maybe a sentence to me per visit, but it's a friendly sentence.) At any rate, I had dropped off about two

Absolutely. We'll need all the help we can get! (On the plus side, actually most of them should be at the wedding, so you'll get to meet the majority of them!)

You gotta keep 'em separated
You like the latest fashions
You'd like to keep 'em clean
You take a trip every week to the laundromat
Throw a load in the washing machine
But if you don't wanna ruin your clothes
You gotta sort 'em out first as everyone knows
Remember bright colors and the others don't mix
Before you wash'em up, wash'em up, wash'em up, wash'em up
Hey
Are your undies turning pink
Take 'em out (You gotta keep'em separated)
Hey, are your cottons gonna shrink
Sort 'em out (You gotta keep'em separated)
Hey, then when it's time
You can stick' em in the dryer
You can hang 'em on a line
Hey, it's LAUNDRY DAY

Here's a version. And a longer one with some other songs. (The "Green Eggs and Ham" is truly a WTF moment. *LOL*) These are different clips spliced together, so watch for volume changes. ESPECIALLY after "Green Eggs and Ham."

I've only been to see him twice; the first time he did two non-recorded songs, "I'll Repair For You" (I'll Be There For You/the Friends theme paradoy) and "Gee, I'm A Nerd" (Free As A Bird parody.) This past time, the only song he did that I was certain I didn't know was "Everyone Has Cell Phones" which was a fun nod to something that was said in one of the fake celebrity interview videos he showed.

That I have seen! And I even have a version of it on tape, because a live recording of him doing that on stage closes out the...oh, carp, what was it called, 'Weird Al' Yankovic: (There's No) Going Home, special, that I ( ... )

Kickass! The place I used to go for my dry cleaning was not so good. For one thing, she ruined a pair of sparkly jeans I had bought--the first pair of "expensive" jeans I had ever bought for myself, and after she was done with them, there was not a speck of sparkle left. I was SO MAD! And there's nothing you can do, because they've got the same lawyers as the USPS apparently and they can ruin your shit and just get away with, "Well you knew that might happen when you came here!" bullshit. And she'd refuse to take other items, like my Chinese shirt. This guy is super nice. :)
