Once More With Feeling

My Dad couldn't sit through all of RENT. He left about halfway through "One Song Glory" because he just couldn't sit through a musical anymore (they're boring) and because he didn't like the flashback of April shooting up (too graphic.)

Yet, last night, he sat through all of Death Bed: The Bed That Eats. Riddle me that.

Just don't ever show him Requiem for a Dream. I still shudder when I think of that one.

Yeah, I don't think I could watch that one myself, to be fair. One shot of a needle, I can either toughen out or look away. More than that? Not so much. I'm not great with needles. (Dad's just worse.)

Which is Marvel's and my favorite kind of movies. We keep lists of "Le Bad" movies to get drunk and watch. :)
