Happy Birthday, breathlessaire!

Happy Birthday, shouki!

Happy Birthday, cyberbird!

Sorry I'm so late on some of these, loves. I really thought I'd have more internet time this weekend. But Wednesday evening I ended up going by Marvel's house and we...you know, I've already forgotten what we did. Ate and played video games I think, and I got home late. And then Thursday was Thanksgiving of course and we played Little Big Planet with shouki (and Marvel and I beat it, yay! I can't remember the last game I actually finished!) and I spent the night there and I ended up not bringing my laptop because I didn't want to pack for one night like I was going away for the weekend, you know? And then Friday I did get some of my Christmas shopping done but I didn't work on my layout at all, and Marvel slept for-freaking-ever and when he got up we...you know, I don't know, played more video games, and we ended up going to agent0033's and jenybean's to help them pack because they had to move (they no longer live around the corner from me ::cries::), and then I slept kind of late on Saturday and when I got up I had to go up the avenue to get some groceries and get my hair straightened and replace the drain pipe for under the kitchen sink and get some wire tacks, and then when I got home I had to run up to the attic to get the Christmas lights for the windows because they need to be fixed before they can go up, and then I had to leave for Marvel's right away because we had a kid's first birthday party to go to, and then on Sunday I had my five hour class you need to take before you're allowed to take the road test, and that was just all freaking day and when I got home I was exhausted so...so, I was never online. Like I said in the first place. I'm trying to make up for it now, though, but I keep getting distracted...

I uploaded all of my holiday icons, though, and I ended up making some more because I didn't have any Umi ones, and since I was making those anyway...

Totally free to steal. Call it the first of my holiday gifts.

And here's the second: at the end of every entry throughout the rest of December, I'm going to close with a link to a charity I've used/believe in. I've only got about three so far, so I'd love to get links and suggestions from you guys. Here's today's:

Let's Say Thanks

This website gives you an opportunity to send a free printed postcard to U.S. military personnel stationed overseas showing your support and appreciation for their service to our country. It's three quick steps, you do have to put in your name and hometown and state, but really, you don't even have to think of something original to write if you don't want to, they have some pre-written sentiments you can choose to put on the card instead. It takes maybe five minutes to brighten up a lonely soldier's life this holiday season.
