Shelled from all sides.

*sigh* The philistines have come out of the woodwork and I'm getting stoned on a daily basis. (and not in the good way) They're just being showoffs, but they're really killing my soul with every comment. I cannot be pulled from the Suns. So if you slap them, you slap me.

I can't even have a casual conversation about basketball with my friends because they either follow the local Memphis teams or the bandwagon team. The only time we're both thinking Suns is when we lose heartbreaking games. A friendly discussion turns into a defense trial in which I have to defend the honor of the Suns and myself.

In fact, some asshole from the NBA community raided my journal and cross-posted my last entry for the whole world to see. Even the Suns community, the one place all season I could find sanctuary from the harsh naysayers, is being flooded by posts from Spurs fans as I type this.

All I want is the happy ending. I want to know what it's like to have a lifelong dream come true. But with every critical post, it's seeming further away than ever. They're all indirectly telling me 'No, your dreams can't ever come true. They're ment to come true for other people.' I'm actually starting to believe them.

If anyone is still scratching their heads as to why I'm so fanatical about the Suns, I wrote a good fan autobiography on another message board. I'll post it here a little bit later on.
