Winter Retreat 2K5
Got three days to make up for.
Friday
Work was just outright ridiculous today. Two Wal-Mart deliveries and my own boss getting me in trouble just to save his own neck. I'm skipping details, but I'll provide them upon request.
When my youth group finally got to the retreat center, big problem. The door on the church bus that was holding our suitcases and sleeping bags got jammed. The leaders spent the better part of 4 hours in cold early a.m. rain getting it open. Four hours, two crowbars, a hammer, and a hole in the interior of the bus later, we finally got the door open. Wonder how that will look on the insurance statement.
Saturday
Fun retreat day. It was great working hard and being tired doing something I was good at and could actually do. Too many crazy and fun things to list.
Sunday
Packed up and headed home.
It's trips and times like this that make moving back to Phoenix so difficult.
