One, Him, Hallway Stories

Let me share some of my poems, which I still consider on level "eeh..."

---

One

In the beginning, there was nothing
A cold, dark abyss of reasoning

Then there was one who came in that world
An existence suddenly unfurled

Soon, another came and there was two
An cherishing encounter so true

In a flash, there were three; four, five, six
Things multiply as fast as time ticks

But if you scatter many, you’ll see
That they has begun from being free

No matter what, everything was one
Before it’s big, it was poorly-done

One’s the governor of time and space
It builds up tall towers and long days

Numbers confuse, but one is to blame
Yet we’re all trapped in its silly game

To get zero, one’s the last digit
One is just everywhere!  Let be it -

Him

His effeminate slenderness and absolute clumsiness
His gentle face and eyes and graceful lips curving into smiles
His soothing, charming voice and unmistakable diligence
These qualities I may not always notice but they’re worthwhile

His words of wisdom and truth and choices of stories to read
His words of mouth and hand and choices of things to talk about
His words of good and bad and choices of people to stay with
These things I may not like, but it will not mean him I will doubt

His supportive classmates and teachers and friends and family
His previous and current fans and only persons in his heart
His former enemies and new buddies throughout the country
These people I may not know but he’s still the best work of art

His physical characteristics I may not know too well
His genetic makeup commanding him I cannot predict
His foundation I am not familiar with, but I can tell
These does not explain clearly why I am in love with him sick

Hallway Stories

Another day, another moment -
Breathe the joyful breeze, the fresh air’s scent

Crying or laughing settles on one corner
Dancing or singing comes from another

Enter the teenagers, having some fun
Friends bathed under the rain and the sun

Great leaders-to-be, discussing their futures-
How impressive!  The world they shall nurture

Inside their minds linger all worries
Journeys to take; many things like these

‘Killer smiles’ are men’s natural arts
Looking good, perhaps with loving hearts

Merry talks and gentle smiles the girls give
No silly person could ever retrieve

Open up, you lovesick people; face those fears
Pent-up feelings must be said without the tears

Queens of gossip with kings of mischief
Rather than telling, they would be cool or stiff

Students outside; in their classrooms
Teachers and the impending ‘doom’

Unnecessarily, these happen all times:
Vandalism, ‘leakage,’ and other such crimes

Waiting for friends to lend missing notes
Xerox machines earn money and totes

Yes!  Dismissal is here, at last -
Zoom into life with a full blast

maksci, poem, fail is fail, fiction
