Ow, my arm hurts.  I love the idea behind donating blood (saving lives, helping the military, etc, etc), but I hate the actual mechanics of it.  The finger-stick to check one's iron levels hurts like hell, I can't look at the big-ass needle they shove in your arm to draw the blood, and, out of the four times I've donated, every other technician missed the vein the first time.  So, now, an hour after giving blood, my entire left arm aches, from the joint of my shoulder down to the tip of my middle finger ('cause of the stupid iron test. :P), and I still need to do laundry and vacuum.
