Today was my last practice of collegiate rifle. It was bittersweet. I'm ready for something new in my life, but it is always hard to let go of the familiar. It kind of hit me like a ton of bricks as I packed my stuff and turned off the lights to leave. I will never shoot on that range again. Heck, knowing me, I probably won't be down there again after I graduate. It's weird, but it is time to move on. By the way, we did not make it to Nationals. The lowest air team shot an average of 2334. No way did we even come close to that in a match much less averaging that. So sad times, but also good because I didn't need to miss more class. However, we are still very much in the lead for our conference. God willin' and the creek don't rise....or we don't come unglued...the hilltop will have another rifle conference championship, which will mean that rifle will have won a conference 3 out of the 5 years its been here. That's pretty impressive if I do say so myself. Well shower time and then unfortunately art...blah. See you all around. Love ya!
