OKAY, I AM GOING TO RESURRECT THIS THING. My sincere apologies to all of my LJ friends ("all" being relative, of course, seeing as I can count the people on my f-list on one hand) for wasting their time with adding me. Your clicks will no longer have gone in vain. I may have forgotten the awesome-ness of Livejournal, but those past transgressions have now been erased. I am hereby making a solemn vow to update this thing at least remotely often,
because Livejournal is awesome, more awesome than Xanga for the following reasons:
&!Reasons why Livejournal is better than Xanga
i. LJ-cuts
ii. communities
iii. memories
As you can see, I have already made use of that first one. ^_^
Of course if you are already a regular reader of my
Xanga (which I am by no means abandoning, after having kept it for more than two years) you will already have seen those photos. So I am sort of cheating, but really, who cares.
I have a chinese prelim exam on Tuesday that I should be studying for, but I am a horrible procrastinator, so instead I have put Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind into the DVD player and am watching it for like the sixth time. I can't explain exactly why I love this movie so much, but it's just beautiful. Probably one of my all-time favourite movies. Watch it if you haven't seen it yet.
I did absolutely nothing today. I woke up early, lazed around, played the piano (the piano solo for Mae's "Sun (Live)" is really fun to play) had lunch and then spent the whole afternoon doodling and making collages. With the exception of going to Coronation for like half an hour to pick up some stuff from NTUC and send some photos for printing. (The lady at the Kodak place was a total bitch!) Anyway, the total lack of productivity makes me both sad and annoyed, because if I had known that I was going to waste the day away I might as well have gone with
chewingballs and Shan to Substation. Dammit.
:: THINGS TO DO TONIGHT SO AS NOT TO MAKE THE LAST DAY OF APRIL A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME ::
!! At least three chapters of Chinese.
!! Make more guitar pick earrings.
(Okay, fine, so not exactly a huge step for academics, but productive nonetheless.)
!! Finish re-reading Prozac Nation
!! Some math.
Notice how that last option is sort of half-heartedly added.
Blah.
Studies are such a joke.
