A good day.
Today was a good day at work. I felt like I took a deep breath of fresh air when the day was done.
Finally, I was in the OR without someone watching my every move, and I felt so much more relaxed. I made a couple of minor errors, and the doctor corrected me. It didn't trip me up, I just moved right on and went on to the next task. I felt much more confident, and even managed some pleasant conversation with the doctor about punk rock, jazz, and opera.
I cleaned the back office with the lab tech, in preparation for an inspection tomorrow. The place is totally spotless and neatly organized. I'm bonding more with my team, particularly Ms Lab Tech because I drive her home when we finish at the same time. It's pleasantly surprising that the other gals find me funny and enjoyable to work with. I love being told that I'm doing a good job, as well.
