two momentous events
since last week i have been pretty ill with some sort of kung fu viral fever and cold. i call it kung fu because it refuses to go away (like bad arse kung fu fighters*) and now i have settled into a snot filled nose rhythm. the doctor said it would go away soon but what do doctors know anyway?
stu had his sinus clearing/bent septum straightening operation last week. we call it his nose job. it has been a painful week for him with blood clots splurting out of his nose and constant headaches. i feel sorry for him - but atleast there will now be a marked improvement in his general well being once he recovers. he will be able to breathe! this makes him happy.
i received my paperwork from deakin yesterday and now somehow it all seems official. i am still looking for houses in melbourne and we will go down there to look at the end of june. in the meantime i have to wrap up things here by doing shit loads of essay and exam marking. fun.
*i might also be channeling kung fu panda which is a film i surprisingly+ really really really want to see
