Best Day ever
-Was actually on the 22nd. Firstly I finished my short film and it was 1 of 10 chosen to be shown during our end of the semester film festival * yay * I spent the night before trying to rework some parts to make it better and I somehow lost my tower card in the lab, which also was attached to my zoo pass and library card. My teacher had found it and gave it to me at the film showing (yay, zoo card was worth $60 alone). Very unexpectedly I received a present when I arrived, “Character Animation Crash Course” by Eric Goldberg, signed and everything! Apparently It was a reward for mentoring young artists on the ACME network. I admit that I like giving critiques to kids b/c it makes me feel that for once I know what I am talking about and can actually help someone, so umm self rewarding I guess.
I also just found out I got A an animation class * yay * because I never get As in the program.
To top off best day ever, Adam, Carson, and I went to the Santa Clara Shelter and picked up a KITTEN! Her name is Tonks and I love her!!!!!! I can ignore the fact that she meows at 6 in the morning and wont stop for hours. Shes very talky and announces everything, like when she enters rooms, jumps off things, uses potty, and eats. She eats a lot! The shelter gave us a 5lb bag of science diet kitten food. I was happy for free food but later discovered that it contained ash, ASH! Im not feeding my kitten garbage. Anyways she is spoiled now, not just by us but also friends and family.
