Happy New Year everyone!
I've been posting to this journal very little and I was going to use it for my HP fanfiction writing. I've been writing a little and publishing nothing. In fact, I haven't even finished any. And I'm signed up for the
fanfic100 challenge, so I need to write and finish 100 works. This brings me to my first resolution:
Follow through with everything (or mostly everything) I start. This includes writing, reading, and anything else. I have about twenty stories that I've begun and haven't finished, even though I know what direction I want to take. Even worse that that is my bookcase. I have about a hundred books that I was going to organize. I realized that I've only read about ten of them all the way through. I have dozens of interesting books that I only read about a chapter of.
Second resolution, exercise more. I'd say lose weight (what an original resolution that would be), but I know that I'm realistically not going to change my diet, but I think that I can exercise a little more.
Final resolution take responsibility. This is something that everyone I know needs to work on especially myself. I've noticed that people like to blame mistakes on other people and outside forces. I do this too. For example, if I'm late for work, it's never my fault--it's always the traffic, my car that needed gas, the alarm clock that didn't go off.
Now that I'm done with the boring personal stuff, here's a meme:

What is your Perfect Major?created with
QuizFarm.com It's eerily accurate. I got my degree in electrical engineering, am now becoming a math teacher (and am considering a PhD in mathematics), and had a minor in sociology.
On a more random note, I think that I just might make it to Europe this summer. It's good, I need something to look forward to in my dull life. I'm considering Central/Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, and Germany).
