Spiderman... Spiderman
Oh man I am sunburned!
Yesterday was the Spiderman 2 premiere in Westwood.
Erica and I were crazy enough to go and try to catch a glimpse of the stars and so we did.
We got there a couple of hours earlier so we ate lunch there then fried in the sun a bit.
We ended up standing across from the Bruin theater instead of where we were originally were in line, which was by the Starbucks because the Starbucks peeps decided to charge a $10 flat fee for being able to stand in their patio area in order to watch the celebs walk the red carpet. Since it totally wasn't worth it we decided to stand across the street for free. It was better anyways cuz we ended up being directly across from where the stars were being dropped off in their cars.
We got to see everyone arrive. Erica even got Sam Raimi's autograph, but of course my biggest thrill was being able to see my man Tobey! *sigh* Ahh he's so adorable. =)
Unfortunately, I didin't take my zoom cam with me so I'm pretty sure my pix of him are going to suck major esp. since I was all spazzing out when he was approaching the crowd where we were at. Oh well.. maybe I'll get lucky and have a good shot of his hair or something. Hah!
We didin't get home til like 11pm that nite and today I feel like I was beaten with a stick. I think it's mostly cuz we stood out all day in the sun.
Oh and while we were there we saw this guy named "Will" (I think that was his name) who could've been Tobey's twin. It was uncanny. He had these glasses w/ him that when he'd put them on he could've been Peter Parker himself!
Too bad I didin't get the nerve to talk to him esp. since he was like 2 feet way from me, but me being the woose that I am when it comes to guys spazzed and didin't utter a single word to the guy. What was cute is that his friends would call over camera crews so they could interview him and then they'd have us cheer for the camera. Wonder if we came out on tv....
"Will" even mentioned to the people by him that he was in a band and that they had a show coming up. I could've sworn he said Sacred Grounds (there's one out here), but I'm not too sure. I so want to see him again!! Oh well I missed my chance and now I'll never find him. =*(
