We fly high..NO lie!!
Hey kiddos!! Its been more than a month since my last entry..oh well. Things have been going good. School is insane but everything else has been amazing. The cohort is even tougher than before- if you can imagine that. I have five or six things due next Friday that I haven't really started on..oh well. I guess I'll just highlight some of the fun things I've been up to..
We finally had our Valentines Dinner! We decided to call it a Formal Dinner instead since it took place several weeks after Valentines Day. Everyone looked so pretty/handsome and the food at Carrabbas was amazing! We didn't take as many crazy pictures as last year but we still got a few cute ones. We decided to have a much smaller group this year with eleven people.
One weekend Chrissy's cousin Angela came into town which was pretty exciting. We went to the mall in Macon one day and out to eat at a really cool Thai restaurant one night. I think there was also a movie night which involved watching Marie Antoinette in Thomas's room..yeah long story.
St. Patty's weekend was AWESOME. Kaitlyn, Sandi, Ashley, and Chris all came to Mville for the weekend. My apartment was packed but we had tons of fun. On Saturday the Grove 1220's (my floor) threw a massive party- it was insane! There was green everything- clothes, decoratons, beverages..there was all sorts of drama but it all was so much fun! :)
Now I'm on my Spring Break which unfortunately is almost over! :( Last Friday I left for Gulf Shores, AL with two carloads of cool kids. The group this year was: me, Wes, Daniel, Thomas, Ashley, Chris, Cara, Nathan, Jason, and Tiffany. Our condo was amazing! We had a corner unit with two huge decks, an amazing view, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms! The place hadn't even been built for a year so it had all brand new appliances, a flat screen TV, leather furniture, and huge walk in closets and bathrooms! The place was called Crystal Shores West and was right on the water and had two pools- one inside and one outside that were connected, a hot tub, a sauna, and a fitness room. We were in heaven! We pretty much spent all the days on the beach or in the pool and all the nights partying it up. Sorry to anyone who received phone calls from me! We had some really crazy nights..I have tons of stories! It was very hard to leave the beach! Even though the group I went with was full of some crazy people and there was some drama..I'm glad we all went together! I became really good friends with Nathan who I didn't know that well before the trip. He's a cool kid.
After I got back from the beach, I spent one night in Mville and now I'm at home. I worked Wed, Thurs, and Fri and today I've been relaxing. My grandfather, aunt, and uncle were all in town so I saw them and I've spent some time with my parents and sister (yes I actually got to see her for more than five minutes!) On Thursday I went out to dinner at Barnacles with my parents, sister, grandfather, Wes, and Devyn's bf Brian. It was quite the night cause my grandfather is a grumpy but hilarious old man and kept picking on Wes and Brian. We were all screaming with laughter. Good times good times.
Now I'm waiting for Thomas and Daniel to get here so we can go bowling. Yup me with the two boys- should be interesting..but fun. No one else is in town! Its so weird! Sorry this was so long but I felt like giving an update. I miss everyone so much! I'm excited to go back to school to see everyone but definitely not excited to do tons of work. Oh well- always the mixed emotions. I hope my two study abroad girls are having fun too! :) Love ya! -D
