Are you still gonna invite Ms Scheuch to your sleepover party?
I think I promised an entry about last week and this weekend and so I begin..
My placement is really really nice. The school is amazing..I am seriously considering doing my student teaching there next year- only bad part is that it is a half hour away. The first morning they took us (all the cohort students) into a room and gave us goody bags full of fun school supplies and had doughnuts, juice, and granola bars. They were all so sweet and they have a literacy coach which I was really excited about. The school is really cute- with murals on the walls and some of the classrooms decorated with cute themes. On Tuesday they had BMX riders come for the students as the prize for their fundraiser. The kids who had sold the most got to sit in the front row, get autographs, and get there early and stay late. My teacher is really cool too. Shes in her late twenties and pregnant with her second child..which is always interesting. But shes so laidback and her classroom is full of School Box products- yeah yeah! All of her lessons are done in the ways we have been taught in class so its nice to see what I'm learning done firsthand. And the kids are soooo cute- they're independent enough not to want to be carried and cuddled with but they actually respect me and want to get to know me..yeah I'm finally in the middle and not in the two extremes. A little girl in my class is going to invite me to her sleepover party..haha.
The weekend was pretty fun..not AMAZING or anything..but still fun! After all my classes on Friday- I hung out at the apt with Wes, Daniel, Thomas, and Cameron. We went to Zaxbys and then people came over that night..Saturday we went to the basketball games and Erin came to visit! I saw Megan for a few minutes too and met her boyfriend! Then a big group of us went to Margaritas to eat and hung out watching movies and stuff. Sunday I played Wes and Daniel in tennis- three sets! I KILLED them! They won 2 games and I won 18. yeah..I know I know. lol. And then that night people came over again and we hung out with the girls above Wes and Daniel which was hilarious- well Daniel was hilarious. And Monday was a homework and chill day.
I am SO excited about this weekend..Diva Night!! I really hope Sandi and James come..please please please please!! And Megan and Erin are coming back! :)
