Is Christianity a trend?
It's quite interesting how people can proclaim "I'm a good christian.
Seriously.
If you claim you're christian, your suppose to drop things that aren't christian like.

I mean I agree with the fact that you shouldn’t say your a good Christian if your not.... and I don’t want to start shit but yes I do want to stick up for some people.
I think it is awesome for people to try and become Christians. It’s a good time for people to turn their lives around. And them saying there a Christian doesn’t make them 100% perfect. No ones perfect. Everyone has flaws and makes mistakes, but god forgives them.
I give props to the people who write stuff about god, I mean it’s a step to help you remind yourself to be with god. I know you are close to him, frankly prob closer then I am these days, but that doesn’t give you the right to bash people from trying to get closer to god.
I myself want to try and get closer to god, b/c like everyone else that you say "slander his name in vain" then that’s b.s im sorry I mean seriously you have to take lil steps too reach god. It just doesn’t happen over night.
People have different life situations, you need to pray for them and not post live journal entrees about them. You should pray that they do become closer to god and change their ways of not using his name in vain and going against his ways. People prob are trying to get closer and I think that is great.
Everyone needs god in there life, no matter who they are. And I think that everyone deserves a chance with god, and you should figure out there story before bashing them and their religion and how they chose to live their life and portray themselves.
I know that you used to not be close with god, but with time and patient ya you did get closer to him and yes you did use his name in vain and did not be 100% Christian along the way. It takes a lot for someone to notice they want to be a Christian and I give them all of my respect.
-I myself have been trying to become a better Christians I notice that I have been slipping into the devils evil ways…and I want to fix that so bad. Yes occasionally I do use gods name in vain but I am trying my hardest to turn myself around. I hate who I’ve become and how I have begun to act and I am changing because of it. I am allowing god to come into my life again, I have chose god as my leader. I want to be happy and with him again like I was a couple years ago. I want to live an awesome life with an awesome god-
Im sorry if you thought I was rude about this comment. Even if you don’t agree with me though I just had to get out my opinion because I think it is a great opportunity for people to get closer with god. Especially me being one of them. Im not trying to start shit just trying to show you a different view on the situation.

if you read the bottom of my entry i stated:

but i never "bashed" anyone or talked about a specific person about their "flaws"
its just an observation.
in fact..yeah its brave to take a stand and proclaim your religion.
but at the same time.. if your "down with God" than why are you doing the same things as before? you said "It’s a good time for people to turn their lives around."
