Well, I'm done with the LSAT. It took me 5 and a half solid hours of test taking, but I finished it. I don't ever want to look at another test again. I find out my score on the 20th or the 22nd of October, so now its time to play the waiting game. In the meantime, I've started emailing professors about writing me letters of recommendation for law school, and I already got one glowing reply from my old favorite Honors prof, Dr. Moore. Of course, he's only free in the afternoons, which is when I work, but I'm sure I'll figure something out. I've also asked Paqui from the Spanish department, but she's gone until the 7th, so I'll get a hold of her later. I'm going to ask Dr. Mariz, the head of the Honors Program, too. That should look pretty fancy.

I just wish that Dr. Resnick still worked at Western. I had heard that they rehired him, but when I went and looked on the poli-sci dept. site, he was no where to be found. Well, I hate them, then, because he was by far the best political science teacher I ever had. They were fools not to extend his tenure. Maybe some kids didn't like him because he assigned a lot of reading and didn't just give grades away, but...well, those were the stupid kids. All the smart ones knew that he was a gem. Western lost something great when he left.

Before I'm ready to apply to UW...and I've also decided to apply to Seattle U., since it's in the same spot and therefore not too far away and someone I know is going there and says he loves it...I'm going to need to get WWU to send the LSDAS people an official transcript. I also have to go back to Olympic College, where I took Running start classes that I transferred to WWU, and get them to send a transcript, too. They're probably going to have to do an archaeological dig for it; it feels like a million years since I went to OC.

I also have to write personal statements for both universities, which shouldn't be too hard. I just hope that my community service is sufficient for them. I mean, I've surely done a lot of volunteer and extra-curricular work, but most of my involvement the last few years has been leadership-oriented, not service-oriented, and law schools want to see that I'm dedicated to improving the world, etc. etc. I am, I totally am...I just hope I can convince them.

I didn't go to work yesterday. I was sick. The funny thing was, I was sicker the day before, when I went to work. And yesterday, since I stayed home sick, I decided to call my Personal Care Provider on my insurance card and see if he could take a look at me...and the receptionist said that the first time she could possible get me in was Monday. I'll be better by Monday. But really, I need to go in for a New Patient appointment first...and the first one of those they had available--get this--was in the beginning of November! Jesus.

I really need to get a hold of a dentist so that I can schedule an appointment for sometime before next year when all my teeth fall out. Blah.

There's going to be a little get-together at me and Marci's place (which is cool, but very spacious, since we don't have a couch) on Friday. I don't get off of work until 7ish, so it'll probably start around 8ish. Just stop by if you're in the neighborhood. Oh, and I'm also going to Creativitea today, so anyone up for it should stop by.

I need a shower. All right, I'm off!
