My First Meeting!
Hey, everyone! I'm having my first ever meeting of the Whatcom County Young Democrats tomorrow. You should all come. Here are the specifics.
When? August 14th at 7 pm
Where? The Bellingham Public Library in the Conference Room downstairs
What? A club for people who want to get involved in politics or just get active in the community, or who want to meet politically-like-minded people.
Why? Because you're my friends and thus, most of you are Democrats. By which I mean reasonable. -) And also I'm making cookies.
If anyone wants to car pool, I can probably pick you up. But I'd love to see you there, so I don't have to eat all my cookies myself, and also so that on the off-chance that a bunch of strange new people show up, I'll have my friends to provide moral support as I dive into a brand new and moderately intimidating endeavor. Also if you have any ideas for activities or things the club can do, they're more than welcome.

3. What do you look forward to most in the next 2 months?
The LSAT...although 'look forward to' probably isn't the best choice of words.

My mom.

Huma.
7. Who was the last person you hugged?
Erik.
8. What were you doing at midnight last night?
Sleeping. I'm a grown-up now, complete with grown-up lame schedule.
9. What are you doing now?
Pondering my meeting tomorrow.
10. Last time you saw your dad?
Father's Day, I think.
11. What happened at 11:00 a.m. today?
I was watching a cute little girl named Kaya, and we were pretending to have a water-fight with a toy drill.
12. How many states have you visited?
14, I think.
14. Do you prefer shoes, socks, or bare feet?
Socks too, I think.
15. Are you a social person?
I've trained myself to be. It's useful.
16. What was the last thing you drank?
Water
17. What is your favorite ice cream?
Traditional: Chocolate mint
Fancy: Jamocha chip, from Starbucks. It's amazing.
18. What is your favorite dessert?
Cookies, or brownies.
20. What kind of jelly do you like on your peanut butter sandwich?
Strawberry, although my answer would change to raspberry if I could get some jam without the seeds.
21. Do you like coffee?
[Absolutely]
22. How many glasses of water a day do you drink on average?
3 or 4.
23. What do you drink in the morning?
Coffee, water, milk if I have time to eat breakfast in the morning.
24. Would you rather kiss someone with or without a tongue ring?
Not sure - I've never kissed someone with a tongue ring.
25. Do you sleep on a certain side of the bed?
Nope. Although sometimes the pillows are better on one side.
26. Do you know how to play poker?
Not at all.
28. Any plans for this week?
Visit Huma maybe. Otherwise, go home and get a bunch of my junk.
29. Do you eat out or at home more often?
Home, I think, but I still eat out kind of a lot.
34. Have you ever been in an ambulance?
I don't think so.
35. Do you prefer an ocean or a pool?
The ocean, even though it's scary. Pools are generally pretty gross.
36. Do you prefer a window seat or an aisle seat?
Window.
37. Do you know how to drive a stick shift?
Ask Jamie. I drove her stick-shift to Mexico and back. Still not sure if I really know how.
38. What is your favorite thing to spend money on?
Movies, even though I almost never buy them. I spend the most money on snacks, I suppose.
39. Do you wear any jewelry 24/7?
My Claddagh ring...I think I've worn it almost continuously for about 3 or 4 years now...and my goldish hoop earrings I wear in my cartilage.
40. Do you speak any other language?
Spanish, and a little Japanese, and I can read Korean.
41. Can you roll your tongue?
Yup. I'd be a pretty poor Spanish major otherwise.
42. Who is the funniest person you know?
Erik.

Nah, but sometimes I still like them.

No. Why would I? I'm big now.

Erik's bedroom is a strange grayish color. Kind of ugly to me, actually.

Always. And it bugs me when other people don't.
