So, I was planning on supporting Barack Obama without really knowing a lot about his platform. But, according to this quiz, I was leaning in the right direction anyway...or in the LEFT direction, as it were. Ha, ha. I know, I know. He's a lot more electible than Kucinich, and a good orator, and young. He's got a lot going. I wish I'd been able to hear him speak in Seattle.

In other news, I just spent my first full week at Biolife. I'm splitting my time in between the Daycare and training to be a Medical Historian. I got to stick people and test their iron (hematocrit) and protein (ppt), as well as their pulse and blood pressure. I'm not very good at getting blood out of people yet, and it's really frustrating and nervewracking when I squeeze and squeeze and squeeze and it's totally in vain...no pun intended...and then my trainer person steps in and suddenly the donor is just bursting with blood. Sigh.

Also, taking care of kids and babies is nice, but I'm mostly just watching a bunch of Disney movies and trying to keep the kids from sticking things in their mouths. Although I did take care of one really, really tiny baby (6 weeks old) and that was both heartwarming and terrifying. So fragile and precious. Little Antonio.

Anyway, my weekend was uneventful. I hung out with Kris and Alex and played wii games, and went out to breakfast today...but mostly I just hung out and watched cartoons with Erik. And it feels good.

GOOD LUCK WITH FINALS, ALL YE WHO YET NEED IT!
