This may sound ridiculous...
...but I cannot WAIT to get back to work. Two months of doing nothing sounds pretty cool, but my towering debt says different. Also...I'm one of those people who needs to be busy, or I feel like I'm wasting my life. I guess I've been doing stuff with Dems lately, but it's not enough to fill my days. I need to start playing hockey again, get cracking on the Dems blog as well as the newsletter, start working 30-40 hours a week, and keep going to the gym, and then maybe I'll feel like my normal self. Also hopefully then I'll have less time to feed my face, so I'll be a little healthier. There is always the outside chance...
Oh. I almost got into a crazy accident today. It was only half my fault, but it was still bracing. I was in the Costco parking lot (which is always way too busy) and I looked both ways before I started backing out. Since I didn't see anyone coming, I whipped out of the parking spot, turning quickly so I'd be able to pull away immediately when I changed gears. And then I hear Charlie and Kat (who were with me) gasp and start to yell something, and I hear someone beeping frantically on their horn. So I look out my side window, and not three inches from the driver's side of my car is the back end of someone's white suzuki hatchback. Apparently they'd been on the other side of the aisle from me and had the same idea I did, and we didn't see each other.
Well, I thought to myself, didn't hit 'em. So I pulled away. Kat and Charlie eventually got their pulses under control again, but things like that don't really excite me. I mean, nothing ACTUALLY happened. It just almost did. Meh. But I'm a crazy driver anyway, so little incidents like that are moderately commonplace.
And finally, I like Life cereal. It's probably my favorite. Kix is good too, but Life is sweeter and has a funner texture. That's all for now.
