Here I am, in all my ice-cream scooping glory. The uniform is neat.
The boss is okay, but I never have to work with him. So, cool. It seems quite easy once you get used to things. And, like I said before, free ice cream. Although I like the waffle cones better. You have to make them, so if you screw one up, you can eat it. I love them. I probably ate three whole ones while I was working today from 8 to 1.
Oh, and I left my house at 7:05, so I got there a half-hour early and just wandered around Fred Meyer and drank a cup of coffee. The morning was beautiful with the sun just coming out and the shadows still blue and cool with frost. Not a bad walk, all things considered. Although, if one of my new co-workers hadn't given me a ride home, it would have been chancy, since we got like 3 sets of uniform clothes, I had brought my coat, and I had two things of ice cream to carry.
All in all, not too bad. Now, I need to clean the kitchen and do a lot of damn homework before the slumber party at 7:30. And since I only got about 4 hours of sleep (I couldn't drift off last night for the longest time!) I'm on fire!
