TV shows...
Today was quite fun...my mum had asked me if I could help her out by translating in one of her tv-shows (she's a tv mod )and I told her I would try it out...especially since I also get paid;) So today I was translating when she had an Italian guest coming over who spoke in English and I was surprised how well it went even though it was the first time I did something like this...not to mention the topic was some algae that are used for whatever medical conditions that I had no clue about before so had to look the words up in the dictionary;) A few times I had a bit of a problem when the sentence got too long for me to remember it all, but my mum was able to notice it and help me out so that it didn't seem as if I didn't understand it...
I will be translating for the guy when he does some interview for a newspaper tomorrow morning as well...and the lady who is the distributor of his products in Slovenia and was also in the show will be paying me for that as well...
Ever since last year I've decided to do things that I hadn't done before and there's been quite a few things so far...and appearing on a tvshow was a first today;) Not to mention I really won't object to the money, especially now with all the WL cds and other stuff;)
So if you need an algae expert, ask me now lol...
Edited to add: Yay, the new WL album is already here in Slovenia:):) Normally it'd take a few days but this time it's already out..and the crazy fan I am, now with even more money, I'll be getting both the UK and the European version we get...lol
