Resting...
It feels so good to be finally not worrying about the thesis for a short while...so am just resting and enjoying a bit of free time...I will have to start working on the main thing soon enough...
Yesterday was fun...I am helping out as a volunteer at a library in the capital for children who can't afford a tutor...so if you're a student or already working, you can sign up there to teach high school students a certain subject for free...I already signed up last year and was helping out a very sweet girl who was even a musician...I even got invited to all the concerts of her school orchestra ( she attends our high school for music...hope that's the right word in English;) )...she was having problems with English so I spent a few hours every week with her and at the end of the school year, it was going well and she didn't need me anymore...it made me really happy as she was very hardworking and would do everything I asked her to...:)
So this year I got another one whom I met yesterday for the first time...he's a cook and adding up to his high school studies ( we have different types of high schools and if you finish the one for cooking you can't go to college but to a different type of 3rd level school as you don't graduate...but you can prolong it for 2 years and this entitles you to be able to go to college as there are final exams...the boy wants to go to college so he's now starting those 2 years )...he's got problems with German and only after one hour yesterday he seemed to have understood what I was telling him...he's very adorable, a sweet young gentleman, being really polite and all, opening the doors for ladies and such;)...my mum is already joking that he can come to cook for us once and the girl from last year could contribute some musical programme with her cello...lol
Afterwards I met up with another friend who also got her concept approved and we agreed to go for a cup of coffee when we both get that...we will celebrate more in style when we graduate;) She was actually having problems with those guidelines for writing your concept and thesis so she was really glad when I offered her to help her out with the technicalities...since my prof would pick on everything, my last concept had to pretty much perfect for it;) She is a good friend so it won't be a problem for me to give her advice how to quote and such things...she said she has no problems with the contents, but no idea how to form the whole paper...her prof isn't very picky and he approved it without her having a perfect thing written down but she doesn't want to have any problems later on if she gets someone to the commission ( we always get a commission who needs to approve the final thesis, one of them is your prof and then two more profs get nominated in it ) who will be just as picky...the girl is really fun though and it was a great laugh...let's just hope she won't tell too many people about me offering help that I'll get like half of the school at my door asking for me to correct their mistakes and then everyone else will be graduating apart from me;) Just kidding though...it sure isn't a problem for me and if some other people will ask me for help, I will not say no...as long as it really ain't the whole school;) lol
Have to go to see that assistant of the dean next tuesday afternoon then and on monday and wednesday is my French class...let's hope certain people show up in a certain pub lol...
I am a bit jealous of Jen though;)...she lives in the same place most of the Westlifers are from so they get their new cds first in the world, one day before Ireland...the new WL album comes out today in Ireland and on monday in the UK and she already got it yesterday...lol...I have it ordered from a friend in the UK as our version is always worse...Jen sounded excited about it and said it was very good:) Can't wait to get it myself as well...have watched some videos of their last performances online and some songs were online on the radio as well and really liked all of them...
We are getting a new computer at home today so if I don't get online for a few days, it'll be because we're waiting the internet to be installed on it and all the software and stuff...this one kept breaking down constantly and my mum got few up with it as she needs a working computer for her work...
