grrrrr...
I asked my MD for a script for a sleeping pill b/c I'm having a slight problem getting my sleep schedule in sync with my work schedule.
I asked why it was 100 dollars for 30 pills when my name brand copay is 20. The pharmacist said that it *might* be because Ambien isn't the drug of choice for my insurance company. I wanted to know if I needed to get a prescription for the DOC or could she substitute it like you could with a generic. I pretty much knew that the answer would be no since it wouldn't be the same drug, but I figured I'd ask as a it couldn't hurt to ask question. She apparently didn't understand my question and just rehashed her first answer. After about 5 attempts at re-explaining myself, I gave up figuring that the answer was probably no anyway and I was getting irritated. I said "You know what just forget it. I'll take it up with my insurance company later. Let me pay for everything but the Ambien and leave." She started getting an attitude with me. I cut her off and said look just let me pay and leave. She was one of those types who have to have the last word and kept at it. I asked for a manager who tried to apologize for her by saying it was the end of her shift, I told him it's no big deal, I'm just getting off my shift too but it really just pissed me off that she wouldnt leave it alone and get me out of her face.
Haysoos Christo I mean if someone is pissing you off or giving you tood but theyre specificially asking to leave, wouldn't you just stfu and help them do just that?
Sorry, had to rant to someone but no one is up this early esp not on a holiday.... oh yeah Happy Fourth and whatnot.
