THE BASICS
Name or Nickname: Victoria, but somehow I've wound up with the nickname Vendetta (as in V for), though it's completely contrary to my personality.
Age: 18, going on 40.
Gender: Female at last check.
Likes: Reading, fandom, the internet, learning, books, staying up late, classical history, mythology, quiet time, studying religions and new-agey stuff, exercise.
Dislikes: People who never call me on my crap, ignorance and bigotry, people who think their way is The Only Right Way and the rest of the world should just get with the program, getting up early, stress, getting into fights with people, people with really abrasive personalities.
Strengths: I have a pretty wicked sense of humor when you get to know me, and I'm crazy good at getting people do do what I want or at arguing my point when I want to be. Generous and compulsively helpful, loyal, protective, imaginative and whimsical when you get to know me, active, geeky, agreeable, organized, emotionally stable and generally at peace.
Weaknesses: Waaaaay introverted, stubborn, prone to bottling things up.
Hobbies: Pretty much reading, the internet, fandom, exercise, and learning new things.
Pet Peeves: People who don't say please and thank you, or who spit on the ground. People who tickle me or grab me, because I'm incredibly jumpy and ticklish and it always gets a reaction.
Favourites (colour, food, music, etc.): Color: brown. Food: bread. Music: celtic and folk. Books: Most. Subject in school: Psychology, mythology, Latin. Pastime: Reading, internet stuff, and sleeping.
THE BIGGER QUESTIONS:
What do you consider to be the driving force or main goal in your life? You know, in terms of why I further myself, it's all me. In terms of why I am what I am, why I'm compulsively helpful or kind of OCD, part of it is guilt, part of it is ingrained in me from childhood, part of it just is.
What do you consider to be some of your worst fears? PUBLIC SPEAKING. I took a class in it once, and it was the worst experience of my life. The class was great. The assignments were not.
Briefly describe what sort of person you are/were in school: As one teacher so kindly put it, I'm eccentric, eclectic, dedicated to my education, curious, a bit on the reserved side, and noticeably neurotic. I'm the weird, nerdy one who is generally well-liked by almost everyone, but who leaves everyone thinking, "I have no idea where she's coming from half the time." (Actual quote. XD)
What would you consider your "personal style"?: As in, clothes? Eclectic. My wardrobe has dresses, jeans, slacks, t-shirts, frilly stuff, and blouses, and all get worn. It depends on my mood.
EITHER OR
Outgoing or shy? I'm not outgoing, but I'm not shy either. Just reserved.
Quiet or outspoken? Outspoken when I'm really into something, but I keep my comments to myself in a big group admosphere usually.
Mature or immature? Way on the mature side.
Forgiving or vengeful? Forgiving.
Impulsive or cautious? Cautious.
Day or night? Either or.
Realistic or idealistic? Idealisic realist.
Optimist or pessimist? Pessimistic optimist.
Leader or follower? Neither, I'm a me-er. I can lead, or I can follow, and I'm happy in either position as long as the people I'm working with don't suck.
BUFFY RELATED
Favourite Buffy character? (Can be major, minor, etc.) I loved Jenny. Sexy, snarky, and smart = bestest character ever. Also, snarky!Cordy was fun. And Dru was pretty awesome, as far as crazy vampire girls go.
Favourite Buffy episode? Oh, I don't know. I enjoyed OMWF, even though it was fairly dark. There were a couple of Tara episodes that I enjoyed (New Moon Rising, for example), and pretty much all of the earlier seasons were fun.
LEAST favourite Buffy character? (Can be major, minor, etc.) I don't know if I have one... I like all of the characters, even the ones everyone else hates. (I'm one of those people who doesn't hate Kennedy.)
LEAST favourite Buffy episode? Seeing Red and The Body, not because they weren't brilliant, but because they broke my heart.
Imagine that you have just moved to a new town. Now imagine that town happens to be on top of a Hellmouth. How would you react? Move? XD
You are out walking alone at night, and a vampire jumps out at you! What do you do? I'd fight back, but I have my doubts as to how effective that would be.
If you, as yourself, were in the Buffyverse, what sort of being do you think you'd be (regular human, witch, slayer, watcher, vampire, demon, etc.)? I think it's a witchy world for me. I'm not really one for the fight, but I would want to be involved.
OTHER
Pictures of yourself? (optional): Pass.
How did you find this community? Er, I was searching stamping communities, and this was on the list.
Anything else? Er, I'm only a diagnosis away from being verifiably OCD...
