I laughed as the little Slayer ran away to her friends.
It had been a decent fight, giving me more energy more than injury.
"Go little bird. Fly, fly away. Bring your little friends with you. You can't stop me...no matter how hard you try."

((Any other Baddies willing to come and play? Well, talk at least..))

I turned to her and smiled, my face partially hidden by shadow.
"Birds are nice..playthings are better. Don't you think?"

Grinning a bit, I nodded.

"Oh yes. Very much so."

This girl had power, I could feel it, and it made my skin tingle.

"Did you make the Slayer scream? Nasty girl...she takes joy in ruining the fun of others. Only serves her right to be made into something to have fun with."

Bowing my head slightly I then looked back to her.

"I'm Drusilla. Now, what should I call you?"

I sniffed her power..tasted it.
It could rival mine.. but let us save that for later.
"I believe that the Slayer could make a good caged plaything, yes. But if she brought more playthings with her, it would be even more fun.."
I looked at her, in her eyes.
"..Drusilla was it?"
My smile broadened.
"You can call me Kandace."

"Oooh, collect the all."

I giggled slightly.

"She's got plenty of friends. I Always did think her odd for that fact."

And unlike Sunnydale...she also had Angel's team. The more the merrier.

"A Witch...two souled vampires...a seer...and a few useless humans. Got enough cages for them all do you?"

I gleamed as I got a mental picture of a petting zoo where the Slayer and her lot were the main attraction.

The cages were more a metaphor, but the more I thought, the more the cages seemed like a good idea.
"Hmm..Maybe you can help, then?"

"It would be my pleasure."

My smile vanished for a moment and was replaced by a concerned look.

"You may do what you will with most of them. All but one. A young girl...My sweet Courtney."

Looking back to Kandace, my smile had returned slowly.

"No harm is to come to her on your quest for fun. As long as that is agreed upon...alls well."

hmm...courtney. Wonderful name.
but I suppose that my quest to have fun with the Slayer could do without this..Courtney.
"Agreed."
I came fully into the light, my face vamped. Some actually said I was beautiful as a vampire. Gorgeous.
"Now.." I said, my voice having no problems and sounding like normal, "What about those cages?"

I grinned slyly as my eyes took on a mischievous glint.

A caged Slayer. How exciting. We could teach her all sorts of tricks. Like a puppy. Fetch...rollover...play dead....

Tilting my head slightly I stare off past her.

“She’s spoken of you. To the others. You twisted her all up.” Closing my eyes for a moment my expression fell flat. As my eyes opened once again my smile returned. “She bleeds...on in inside. I can see it.”

Granted with her Slayer healing it wouldn’t be at all life threatening...probably would only cause her mild discomfort for a while if anything at all. Grinning, I lick the tip of my index finger then reach out and grab at the open air in front of me--as if to snatch a fly while it was still in mid-flight.

“They’ll come for you. And the white witch is very cross...as is my dear Spike.”

I couldn’t help my mind from drifting to thoughts of grandmum. She would have enjoyed this. But this girl...she was proving to be just as wicked and black-hearted. And thus, the beginnings of a beautiful partnership.

I read her thoughts with a malicious glee.
Partnership indeed...
I laughed.

Narrowing my eyes slightly, my demeanor took a pitfall as I looked at her. I had a feeling something was off...and I didn’t like it.

But that aside, I felt like I should be somewhere else. Going after the Slayer would wait for an appropriate time. Her coming right off of a fight would mean she wasn’t at her full potential, thus diminishing the fun.

“My presence is needed elsewhere. I’ll be...around.”

I sensed that this girl didn’t require any information on my future whereabouts to help her find me if she needed or wanted to. That fact was somewhat unsettling. I’ve never been on the receiving end of that kind of power before.

Bowing a goodbye, I turned on my heels and started on my way

I waved.
Once she had gone out of earshot, I laughed. Out loud, with a sort of glee that I'd never really experienced before.
Oh yes, I'll find you when I need you pet. Whether you need me or not. I moved on, in search of more fun.
