::I don't blame her for not worrying about me, because she knew that when it came to being a klepto that I got it all covered. So I walked over near Nicole and sat on one of the sinks in the bathroom and looked at Nicole who was reading through the chart.::
"A few broken bones...he's been all casted up. Internal abdominal bleeding----they got that under control though. And some blood loss...of the non internal kind. He needed a transfusion... Oh! And he's type AB positive."
::I listened as Nicole read the chart, well the important information. The stuff that the doctor was keeping rom us. The good thing is it's nothing really badly. A few broken bones, they heal in no time and they got the internal abdominal bleedin under control. Plus I now know his blood type.::
"Well at least it's only a few broken bones and nothing worse then that. I hear he is a pretty active guy so this shouldn't keep him down for to long. Plus maybe we can go in a see him soon, who knows the gang could already be in there now."
::Hopefully someone was here. I mean this is hard enough to deal for me and I barley know him, just think how bad it is for Nicole but she is doing very well from what I can see. We aren't really the type to show our pain.::
"Ya think we could just leave it in here and they'll think the nurse lady left it? Or...."
::I jumped down off the sink and looked at the chart, then back up to Nicole. Leave it in here and the nurse looked dumb enough that she could have gone to the bathroom and forgot it. The Or was having me sneak back in to put the chart back. Time and effort...or watching the nurse freak out when she can't find it.::
"Let's just leave it here. It's easier that way. Besides I am better at stealing stuff then I am at putting the stolen item back. Plus where is the fun in that."
::I took the chart and sat it on the sink counter and walked to the door and pulled it open. I walked out and waited for Nicole before shutting the door.::

I shook my head and smiled after she said that. It was nice that she embraced her criminal tendencies. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, ya know.
Once we got back to the waiting room I noticed...no one. Well, no one I wanted to see. Just that damn nurse. No Cordy--no Fred. If this is Cordelia's idea of 'I'll be there soon', then I'd hate to see how long we'd be kept here alone if she took her sweet time...
"Should I call again? I-I should call again.... Or try my luck with someone else maybe...?"
Someone else? Like who? Mr. Cell phone savvy--also known as Angel? Lorne maybe? Not even sure if I had his number stored in my phone...
::I let the bathroom door swing shut once Nicole had walked out. Then we walked down the hall back to the waiting room, where no one was there. Well no one but that nurse. Hopefully she doesn't want to talk to Nicole...or me for that matter Nicole looked like she would have fallen asleep if I didn't get out there as soon as I did.::
"Should I call again? I-I should call again.... Or try my luck with someone else maybe...?"
::I watched as Nicole got frustrated. I don't blame her though. She called Cordy a while ago and she still hadn't shown up. It's got to be almost morning and Nicole and I haven't had one moment of sleep, which I am not really complaining. Nicole and I have done the all nighters thing before. Least this way I have a reason for not going to school today which believe me when I say I'm okay with that.::
"Why don't you try Cordy again, only this time don't let her hang up so if you don't hear her coming you can tell her I don't hear the car starting or something. I don't recommend calling Angel cause I thought he didn't know how to use a cell phone. I mean it's 2004 you would her could have learned by now. It's called the latest technology, everyday thing. I am going off topic again."
::Hopefully Buffy will go easy on me when I finally do get home and not want to have that talk we were suppose to have last night because really not looking forward to that. I think when I get home I am just going to go to sleep, then whenever I wake up get Nicole's notes and get caught up on that.::
"Right, call her again. I can do that. See, this is me doing....that"
I dialed the first 4 number of Cor's cell phone, giving her the benefit of the doubt that she had left the office by now. Before hitting the fifth button I loose my concentration as a familiar song drifts through the ER waiting room. At first, the words escaped my mind...but after the portion of the song continued 5 times over...it hit me.

"Gunn's phone!" I rushed over to the nurses desk and snatched the cell phone she had just picked up. The thing was pretty beat up...I'm surprised it still worked. "Hello?"
Nothing....
"Hellllloooo." ::sighs:: "Well this was pointle-- Cordy?"
I could hear the sound of my cousins voice on the other end....but it was faint, like she wasn't speaking directly into the mouth piece. "Cor, are you speaking into the ear piece again?"
"Right, call her again. I can do that. See, this is me doing....that"
::I smiled at Nicole. That's my brave little toaster. I didn't say it cause I didn't feel like saying that but thats what she is. I gotta give Nicole way more credit. She has really come out from being lil miss prep since the day she moved into our house back in Sunnydale. Nicole and I were cool pretty much from the start. I loved how she talked back to Buffy at times that was just priceless. Then all of a sudden there was this song playing. Nicole finally realized what it was::
"Gunn's phone!"
::Nicole rushed over...I would have done the same but damm when the girl wants to go somewhere she can really move. I run over to the desk as Nicole had already grabbed the phone and let the nurse staring with her mouth a gap. I couldn't help it I had to say it.::
"Don't you know it's rude to leave your mouth open like that...and didn't your mother teach you to keep your hand's off other people's things."
::After saying that to the nurse I walked away and over to where Nicole was and I heard her mention that it was Cordelia on the phone. Then I heard her say about her speaking into the ear piece. I laughed a bit then leaned in next to Nicole to try to see if I could hear her saying anything, and if she was saying something this way I could get the full conversation rather then Nicole's half.::
"Cordelia Chase, if this is your idea of a joke I'm so far from making with the giggles!"
There were still no direct words spoken back to me through the phone, only background noise.
"And now with the counting..." I jumped up slightly after hearing a loud crash on the other end, which was followed be Cor's voice once again yelling the word 'go'. What the hell is going on...
"Dawn...I think somethings wrong" Doubt I really had to voice that statement seeing as how Dawn was listening to the call as well.
"Cordelia Chase, if this is your idea of a joke I'm so far from making with the giggles!"
::I listened trying to make out what was going on. A bang hear and another bang there but know words in which I could make out. from the looks of it Nicole wasn't having much more luck then I was in trying to figure out what's going on.::
"And now with the counting..."
::I jumped back also when all of a sudden there is a loud crash and yelling 'go'. Something was defiantly not good over there. Maybe one of there clients couldn't pay, and Cordy kept bugging them for cash. then they came to pay another way. Maybe this was way Cordy hadn't gotten here yet, but wouldn't she have said something to Nicole earlier? It can't be a vamp cause hello daylight.::
"Okay well you defiantly need to stay here in case Angel or whoever shows up or if you hear any word on Gunn. But I dunno maybe I should go check it out...or at least call Buffy."
::Call Buffy, did I really just say that. I can handle a unhappy costumer. A vamp I have staked a few in my day. Maybe Cordy is handling everything okay on her own. I mean she yelled go maybe they have gotten out already and on there way here. I listened in hoping to hear Cordy say something.::

"Gunn's phone!" I rushed over to the nurses desk and snatched the cell phone she had just picked up. The thing was pretty beat up...I'm surprised it still worked. "Hello?"
