::I followed along behind Abby which was a lil bit odd, I thought she just got to LA how did she know this place so well. That's something I will ponder the thought of later. Right now I was more worried about finding Nicole. Not to mention knowing how Gunn was doing. I felt bad that I couldn't be with Nicole I mean I had to bring the car cause I couldn't just leave it there. So as much as I know Gunn is hurting and such my first priority is getting to my best friend. We dealt with death all the time in Sunnydale but it's alot harder when it's someone you know. Abby reached the reception desk and I walked up beside her as Abby was saying bout being Gunn's adopted sister from England. Boy this girl must really like to lie::
"His name's...uh...Gunn. Th-that's what Nicole called him anyway."
::I gave her an odd look and knew she couldn't have been Gunn's adopted sister just cause she was a bit hasty on giving his name. Just as Abby finishes trying to think of his name a voice comes up from behind giving his name. I didn't have to look I knew it was Nicole.::
"They said they'd come out and let us know what the deal is once they get him stable."
::I hugged back Nicole as she said they would let us know more what was going on when he was stable. I moved a piece of hair out of Nicole's face when she let out of the hug and looked at Abby. Alls I can do is be here for her but I know what she is going through. God knows Nicole and I have both had our fair share of hospitals.::
"Ugh...did you call Buffy yet? I'm so not looking forward to calling anybody A.I. related. Not like I had much luck finding or reaching any of them thus far..."
::I was about to answer Nicole back as the nurse at the desk noticed my bruise and almost freaked out. Then she started asking me questions if I was in the accident and all that...man what will it take to shut her up. I was the least of the problem. She got up and grabbed a couple ice packs then walked back and handed me them and said to put them on my face. I rolled my eyes at her and walked away from her desk with Nicole coming beside.::
"Okay back to my answer before I was rudely interrupted. I haven't called Buffy yet, but I will be. I was gonna call her a few minutes ago just before you came up actually. God knows she is probably flipping out by now. It is getting a bit late but you know I am totally here for you.I think I should make with the calling Buffy. I mean I am already grounded enough as it is."
I looked on at Nicole and Dawn for a moment as they talked about who had to call who. Once they walked away from the reception desk I turned my attention to the nurse once again. I didn't like her--not sure why...and I think she found my earlier sarcasm mildly annoying. Is this what she got paid for? Writing names on files and giving ice to battered teens? Nice to see her college tuition was well worth it.
I noticed her becoming a bit uneasy as I stared at her. She lifted a file up, in attempts to cover her face. Idiot...
Her discomfort was amusing. Dawn and Nicole were busy with...the chatting. I figured it was best I not barge in. So nurse lady was my company. Ugh, I think I'll go back to being silent.
Moving further into the waiting room, I take a seat by a table that is covered in magazines. Picking one up, I stare at the cover that reads 'Exclusive Eminem Interview'.
"Ohhhh...'Eminem'! Not 'M&Ms'!"
I hadn't realized I had just said that out loud, and now the nurse was the one doing the staring. She shook her head as I caught her gaze. I really disliked her.
Hmm, the guy on the cover looked like a better candidate for a music contract than the candies... anyway.

"A flipping out Buffy is definitely not of the good. With the whole 'being-grounded-for-two-weeks' thing, I'm guessing 'Come straight home after school' was part of the ground-age list of do's and donts." Last thing she needed was 2 more weeks added to her sentence.
"Okay then! Make with the calling. I'll be..." I look into the waiting room and see Abby looking intently at an old magazine. "Yeeeah." Not bothering to say anything else, I walked reluctantly into the room and took the seat on the chair that was on the opposite side of the table Abby had sat by.
